Three groups have already concluded at the Women's World Cup with Switzerland, Norway, Australia, Nigeria, Japan and Spain through to the knockout stages and on Tuesday it is the turn of Groups D and E, with the USA and England in action.

Portugal vs USA (Tuesday, 8am)

Defending world champions, the USA, are not yet through to the knockout stages of the 2023 Women's World Cup following a draw with the Netherlands last time out but they can reach the last 16 with victory over Portugal on Tuesday.

The Stars and Stripes eased past Vietnam 3-0 in their opener before a 1-1 draw with the Dutch, and are strong favourites to beat the Portuguese.

They should get the job done but Portugal, playing in their maiden Women's World Cup, have given a good account of themselves so far and could get on the scoresheet in this match.

The USA are lighter at the back in the absence of captain Becky Sauerbrunn and Portugal played with excellent attacking fluency in their 2-0 win over Vietnam last time out, racking up 29 shots and seeing 70 per cent of the ball.

The Netherlands are heavily fancied to see off Group E strugglers Vietnam on Tuesday and it is tough to pick out value in the match.

But in the goalscorer markets Lieke Martens could be worth a bet to score the first goal of the match.

With Juventus forward Lineth Beerensteyn once again expected to miss out, Martens could play an even more significant role in this contest and she was lively in the Dutch's opener against Portugal, managing three shots, one of which was on target.

Vietnam have already shipped five goals in the tournament and could struggle to keep out Martens and the Dutch in this final Group E encounter.

Haiti vs Denmark (Tuesday, 12pm)

Goals have generally been at a premium in Group D at the Women's World Cup with all four fixtures so far finishing 1-0 and that trend could continue when Haiti take on Denmark.

Both nations are still looking to make the knockout stages, although Haiti have yet to pick up a point, and this could be a cagey contest.

On paper, Denmark look the stronger side but they have struggled for goals recently, having scored only three times in their last five matches in all competitions, with that run featuring blanks against England and Spain.

They should have enough to get over the line against Haiti but punters should not expect the goals to flow.
