It is semi-final day in the Wimbledon men's draw as the final four players look to book their spot in the showpiece final on Sunday

Novak Djokovic vs Denis Shapovalov

Novak Djokovic is through to yet another men's singles final at SW19 after he saw off Denis Shapovalov 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 7-5.

The Serb is now just one win away from his third-successive Wimbledon title and has a shot at equaling the record of 20 Grand Slam titles, currently jointly held by Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal.

The 34-year-old made it through in straight sets, however that doesn't tell the whole story as Shapovalov, 22, pushed him right to the very end.

"I don't think the scoreline says enough about the match" Djokovic said. "He was serving for the first set, was probably the better player for the second set. He had most of the chances."

Matteo Berrettini vs Hubert Hurkacz

Matteo Berrettini has set up the opportunity to potentially kick start the Italian celebrations early in London on Sunday after he defeated Hubert Hurkacz to book his place in the final.

Queen's champion Berrettini, 25, will now compete in his first Grand Slam final and will look to had No1 Djokovic to his list of scalps already taken this season.

The Italian only dropped one set in his 6-3 6-0 6-7 (3-7) 6-4 victory against his Polish opponent, also hitting 22 aces throughout the match.

An emotional Berrettini was lost for words noticeably lost for words after securing his place in the Wimbledon final. 

"I need a couple of hours to understand what happened," he said. "I think I never dreamed about this because it was too much for a dream."
