Matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage sealed the fate of a number of teams.
Liverpool, Juventus, Ajax and Bayern Munich all extended their 100% records and booked their places in the knockout stages.
Malmo, Besiktas and RB Leipzig have all been eliminated, while a second-half own-goal for Porto ensured AC Milan still have a chance to escape Group B.
It was goals galore as four teams scored four or more, with some outstanding performances from players across the continent — but who made it into the LiveScore Team of The Week?
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint-Germain)
Starring in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Leipzig, Paris Saint-Germain stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma used every inch of his 6ft 5in frame to thwart Andre Silva from the penalty spot to keep the Ligue 1 giants in the game while trailing 1-0.
A Georginio Wijnaldum brace turned it around and the visitors held a 2-1 lead until stoppage-time when Dominik Szoboszlai converted a second penalty to level the scores.
That should not take anything away from the Italy No1, who made three big saves on the night.
Right-back: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
Trent Alexander-Arnold put on a passing masterclass in the first half of Liverpool's 2-0 win against Atletico Madrid at Anfield, chipping in with both assists.
Surprisingly, they were the first assists of the season in Europe’s elite competition for the 23-year-old.
His first was a spectacularly weighted first-time cross into the six-yard box for Diogo Jota to nod home.
The second was a cross-cum-shot, but we will give him the benefit of the doubt and believe he meant to find Sadio Mane.

Centre-back: Eric Bailly (Manchester United)
In what was only his second start of the 2021-22 campaign, Eric Bailly will have given manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a selection headache.
The former Villarreal man put in an impressive all-action performance and saved Manchester United on a number of occasions as the Red Devils drew 2-2 at Atalanta.
The 27-year-old won two tackles, made four interceptions and made one clearance as the Red Devils salvaged a point late on thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Centre-back: Joel Matip (Liverpool)
Joel Matip was at it again against Atleti. Virgil van Dijk’s defensive partner won 100% of his aerial duels and completed two clearances as the Reds repelled everything the away side threw at them in the opening 45 minutes.
Perhaps the highlight of his match however, was when he strolled forward with the ball and played a defence-splitting pass into Jota.
The Portuguese forward was narrowly offside, but that should not detract from what was a playmaker’s pass.
Left-back: Joao Cancelo (Manchester City)
Joao Cancelo ran riot for Pep Guardiola’s outfit against Club Brugge — racking up three assists in a 4-1 home win, while also hitting the woodwork.
The versatile full-back attempted the most passes on the night (108) and the most key passes (seven).
He also did not shirk his defensive duties, winning two tackles and making three interceptions as City took control of Group A.
Centre midfield: Teun Koopmeiners (Atalanta)
Teun Koopmeiners caught the eye with an excellent performance against United.
The 23-year-old bossed a middle third containing Paul Pogba, winning more tackles than anybody else for Gian Piero Gasperini's side (four).
Nobody attempted or completed more crosses than the Dutch maestro, with the former AZ Alkmaar captain putting in a statement performance in what was only his fourth Champions League match.
Centre midfield: Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea)

Ruben Loftus-Cheek put in a wrecking ball performance for Thomas Tuchel’s side, as they eked out a narrow 1-0 win at Malmo.
The powerhouse midfielder had four shots, played three key passes, won four aerial duels and completed eight of his nine dribbles in what was a man-of-the-match performance. The 25-year-old looks right at home in the Chelsea midfield.
Right winger: Antony (Ajax)
Antony laid on two assists as Ajax put down a marker with a 3-1 win over 10-man Borussia Dortmund in the Westfalenstadion.
The Samba starlet was a menace down the right side all night, attempting eight dribbles and taking two shots.
He is now on four assists in the Champions League this term.
Attacking midfielder: Paulo Dybala (Juventus)
Paulo Dybala put on quite a performance against Zenit as Juventus claimed a 4-2 home victory.
The Argentine playmaker scored twice, hit the woodwork and assisted another as Juve netted four for the first time this season.
The 27-year-old also completed three key passes and four dribbles.
Left winger: Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
Mr Champions League was at it again. Ronaldo followed up his heroics in United’s last outing in the competition — a 3-2 win over Atalanta — with two goals against the same opposition.
The legendary forward struck in injury-time to prevent defeat and ensure the Red Devils finished Matchday 4 in top spot.
Striker: Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)

Robert Lewandowski celebrated his 100th Champions League game with a starring performance in Bayern's 5-2 home win against Benfica.
Despite missing a penalty, he scored a treble and assisted Serge Gnabry as Bayern secured their place in the last 16.
The Poland international finished the match having taken six shots and played two key passes.
He is now on a remarkable eight goals from four matches in the Champions League this term.
