The Belgian's departure left a sour taste in the mouths of Blues fans when he headed for the Spanish capital in August 2018 and he has not always enjoyed life between the sticks since joining Real.

Fast forward to today, however, and 28-year-old Courtois is now widely heralded by supporters and pundits alike in Spain, which is why we have opted to turn the spotlight on him ahead of this evening’s clash.
