Due to the threat of Storm Eunice, Kelso is the sole jumps meeting scheduled for Friday afternoon. However, it will need to pass a precautionary inspection at 8am in order to get the green light.
The opening race from the Scottish racecourse comes at 1pm and the cards runs through to 4.10pm. The official going is described as 'Soft'.
LiveScore Five To Follow at Kelso on Friday
1pm — Sam's 80th Birthday Bash Handicap Hurdle (2m6½f)
GOODTIMES BADTIMES broke his maiden in style on his penultimate appearance, scoring by over nine lengths at Ayr (2m4½f). He was unable to successfully follow up at Newcastle last time out, but he did hit the frame, finishing third of 16.
This latest mark of 97 remains very workable for Sandy Thomson's gelding. The soft ground will suit the seven-year-old. He is in with a great chance of more success.

1.30pm — Johnston Smillie Novices' Hurdle (2m)
Since switching to James Ewart's yard back in December, ESCAPEANDEVADE has produced two smart performances. He scored on his stable debut at Ayr (2m4½f) and then finished runner-up at Wetherby (2m3½f) in a novice hurdle.
The six-year-old will need to carry a penalty here, as will the hat-trick seeking Grey Skies. Those two horses should be set to battle it out for the first prize, with former the most likely to come out on top.

2pm — Get Expert Tips At timeform.com Handicap Hurdle (2m)
There are three C&D winners lining up in this 2m handicap hurdle, including STAINSBY GIRL. The mare scored here last month where she made all virtually all, keeping on well at the finish when challenged.
A 2lb rising in the ratings is unlikely to be enough to stop Donald Whillans' runner from repeating that result. She has won off this mark before and she acts on all types of ground.

2.30pm — J.A. Wilson Contractors Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (2m7½f)

After long margin victories at Sedgefield (2m5f) and this course (2m6½f) respectively, SOUNDS RUSSIAN attempts to complete a hat-trick in this small field. He will need to defy a career high mark, but he remains open to improvement over fences.
The seven-year-old is having just his fourth start as a chaser here. He was well on top at the finish here back in December over 2m 6½f. This extra furlong should not be a problem for the novice chaser.

3.05pm — Racing's Best Ratings With Timeform Handicap Chase (2m5½f)
THE MIGHTY ARC has made a good start to his chase career. He has been victorious on two of his three outings this season, including at Sedgefield (2m5f) on his latest appearance.
Charlie Longsdon's runner scored by five lengths in that seven-runner contest. The front-running novice chaser is likely to improve again. He is now 7lb higher in the ratings, but the handicapper may not have got hold of him just yet.
