With Harry Kane's future still unclear, Ange Postecoglou may turn to Heung-Min Son to lead Tottenham into a new era under the Australian.
Son, 31, underwent surgery at the end of the 2022-23 season after revealing he had been suffering from a sports hernia for much of the campaign.
Despite this, the South Korea captain still managed 20 goal involvements for Spurs, who finished eighth in the Premier League.
We take a look at the No7 and how he can return to his best form under the new regime.
An Eclipse in North London
Son entered the most recent campaign having won the Golden Boot, netting 23 times and adding seven assists to take his total contributions in the league to 30.
But the marksman looked like a shadow of himself over the last year and could only manage 10 goals and six assists in a troubled season.
But Son's recent operation will mean he can play at full capacity Postecoglou and he will be given the license to attack more often than under predecessor Antonio Conte.
Since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, the wicked winger has only failed to score more than 10 Premier League goals in one campaign and that was during his first year in England.
Common ground

Tottenham's loyal servant has always preferred to play in an attacking side but since the departure of Mauricio Pochettino in 2019, he has had to develop his defensive duties to accommodate both Conte and Jose Mourinho.
But for the first time in four years, the Puskas Award winner can look forward to working under a manager with a different philosophy.
Son has already been asked what his thoughts are on the new head coach and he was quick to declare his admiration, saying: "I'm really looking forward to it. When it was announced who the manager was I was really happy about it.
"We follow the Scottish league and we could see he was dominating it, I'm really looking forward to the fantastic attacking football."
Son without Kane?
Spurs fans may be relying on their beloved talisman more than ever should Kane depart for Bayern Munich.
Together, the No10 and Son form the most prolific duo in Premier League history, but the latter may become the main scorer and supplier of goals in 2023-24.
During the latter stages of the 2018-19 campaign, Son was able to step up in the absence of Kane who was sidelined through injury.
His contributions helped the club reach the final of the Champions League and qualify for the European competition by finishing fourth in the Premier League.
More than capable

So while Kane would be a huge loss for the North London outfit, Son has proven that he has the capability to fill his shoes.
The 111-cap international has already turned down an approach from Saudi Arabia this summer and has stated his desire to prove himself once again in England's top flight.
He said: "Probably if I wanted to go there I would be out there, not here. I love playing football, obviously, money is also important.
"I dream of playing in the Premier League and I still have a lot of things to do."
Son has now linked up with the squad in Australia as they begin their pre-season preparations but missed out during the club's 3-2 loss to West Ham.
