Milan will travel to Udinese with a depleted squad, as Ruben Amorim grapples with a growing injury crisis ahead of a demanding run of fixtures. According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri must cope without seven first-team stars.

Mario Gila, Adrien Rabiot, and Diego Moreira have joined Matteo Gabbia, Alexis Saelemaekers, and Samuel Chukwueze on the injury list. Gila has struggled with an ankle problem. Meanwhile, Rabiot and Moreira have suffered muscle fatigue.

Their absence leaves Amorim with limited options as Milan look to bounce back from their heavy Europa League defeat to Bournemouth. Yet to lose a Serie A fixture under Amorim, the 19-time Italian champions could draw four consecutive away league games for the first time since May 2017.

However, with Inter already seven points away, after a come-from-behind 2-1 home win over Fiorentina earlier today, that’s a feat Milan will be desperate to avoid tonight.

How Milan Could Line Up vs Fiorentina

Mike Maignan will start in goal, with Fikayo Tomori, Koni De Winter, Strahinja Pavlovic and Davide Bartesaghi expected to form the back four.

Yunus Musah, Luka Modric, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek should occupy the midfield, while Omari Hutchinson and Christian Pulisic will support Gonçalo Ramos in attack. Francesco Camarda could also feature from the bench.

Milan will need to manage their resources carefully, with Bologna awaiting them in midweek before Saturday’s derby against Inter. The Rossoneri also face Ferencvaros in the Europa League and Genoa before the international break.

Despite the absences, Amorim’s side will aim to return to winning ways against an Udinese team that has lost five successive Serie A matches. The injury situation leaves the Milan manager with little room to rotate, making Sunday’s trip to Udine a significant test of the squad’s depth.
