Exeter's seven-race card is the focus on Tuesday with the main event at 1.55pm

Exeter is one of five meetings taking place on Tuesday in the UK, with a fantastic seven-race card ahead at the Devon venue.

The opening race takes place at 12.55pm, while The Haldon Gold Cup is the feature race at 1.55pm and once again it has attracted a strong field.

The official going heading into the meeting is described as 'Good To Soft', 'Soft' in places.

And we have picked five horses for you to follow.

12.55pm - Betway Supports Safer Gambling Week Novices' Hurdle (2m5½f)

In what was his opening start since moving to Paul Nicholls' yard, OUTLAW PETER prevailed in a bumper at Worcester (2m) last month.

The five-year-old kept on strongly at the finish — he looks like a smart prospect and this step up in distance is likely to suit the Ditcheat runner on his first run over obstacles.

He may take all the beating in the opening race on the card.

LiveScore selection: Outlaw Peter

1.25pm - Betway Novices' Hurdle (2m½f)

HUFLOWER, a two-time winner in France, is making his debut in the UK.

Now in the hands of Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls, the French recruit has recently had a wind-op.

On his last start at Angers, he prevailed in a 1m7f contest on heavy ground.

This could be a stepping stone for the novice to bigger things later in the season. If he passes this test, connections will consider some big races for the horse at the back end of the campaign.

1.55pm - Betway Haldon Gold Cup (2m1½f)

Paul Nicholls has two runners in the Haldon Gold Cup this year and although No1 stable jockey Harry Cobden has opted to ride Hitman, the Ditcheat trainer may win this race again with GREANETEEN.

Last year's winner goes well fresh, as he showed 12 months ago.

This horse ended last season with victory in the Grade One Celebration Chase and he is at the very top of his game, he has the class to successfully concede weight to the rest of the field.

LiveScore selection: Greaneteen

2.25pm - Betway "Future Stars" Silver Bowl Novices' Chase (3m)

With four wins from five starts, THREEUNDERTHRUFIVE was in excellent form last season over hurdles.

He signed off the season with success in a Listed contest at Perth (3m), while the novice chaser finished second of four on his chase debut at Chepstow (2m7½f) last month.

The horse which beat him has come out and won a strong novice race at Cheltenham since then, so the form has been franked — Paul Nicholls' gelding can go one place better this time.

LiveScore selection: Threeunderthrufive

2.55pm - Betway Stayers' Handicap Chase (3m)

RUN TO MILAN scored over fences for the first time in his career over this C&D on his last start back in March, it was a comfortable success as the margin of victory was 12 lengths.

The handicapper has reacted to that performance by raising him 12lb in the ratings.

Victor Dartnall's runner could be set to produce more this season so he can defy that rise in the weights.

LiveScore selection: Run To Milan
