Paris Saint-Germain want to hijack Bayern Munich's move for Harry Kane.

Tottenham star Kane, 29, has been the subject of interest from the German champions who are hoping to strike a deal with the North Londoners.

Now the Independent claim PSG are equally keen to land the England captain, who has a year remaining on his contract at Spurs.

Though Manchester United remains the Premier League star's preferred destination, the Red Devils are only interested in a free move next summer.

And the Parisians are ready to strike after being given renewed encouragement that Kane is willing to move abroad.

Kane is on the French giants' A-list of striking targets alongside Napoli frontman Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani of Eintracht Frankfurt.

With deals for Osimhen and Kolo Muani proving difficult for PSG to secure for differing reasons, Kane has now emerged as the most feasible option of the three.

The Qatari-owned club have also earmarked Juventus goalscorer Dusan Vlahovic and Atalanta hotshot Rasmus Hojlund as alternatives behind that trio.
