We take a look at the numbers to see who recorded the most goal contributions in the continent's top five leagues, Champions League and Europa League combined.

10. Alexandre Lacazette, Lyon — 32 (27 goals, five assists)

Alexandre Lacazette's renaissance at Lyon in 2022-23 was seriously impressive.

The 32-year-old striker became Les Gones' second-highest scorer in history with a goal against Nantes in March.

After a tough time at Barcelona, Antoine Griezmann reminded the world of his unquestionable talent.

The Frenchman was exceptional for Atletico Madrid, finishing his LaLiga campaign with 15 goals and 16 assists — the most involvements of any player in the division.

Barcelona hitman Robert Lewandowski won LaLiga's Golden Boot on debut with 23 goals, four more than any other player.

The Pole's tally of seven assists was also the joint-fifth highest total in Spain, further highlighting what an all-round package the 34-year-old is.

Harry Kane's tally of 30 Premier League goals was his joint-best in a season for Tottenham, while he also scored in a record 26 different games.

The England captain struggled on the Champions League stage, though, netting only once in eight appearances.

3. Mohamed Salah, Liverpool — 41 (27 goals, 14 assists)

Despite not having his best season at Liverpool, Mohamed Salah still takes the bronze medal for goal contributions.

The Reds winger scored eight times in as many Champions League games, while reaching double figures in both departments in the Premier League (19 goals, 12 assists).

Kylian Mbappe, 24, finished as Ligue 1's top scorer for the fifth consecutive season by bagging 29 goals. 

The Frenchman's assist numbers dropped significantly from the 21 he tallied in 2021-22, but he still enjoyed a superb campaign overall.

1. Erling Haaland, Manchester City — 57 (48 goals, nine assists)

In his debut season with Manchester City, Erling Haaland finished as the Premier League (36) and Champions League (12) top goalscorer.
