Alessia Russo has set her sights on winning silverware after joining Arsenal on a free transfer.
The Gunners have swooped to land the England striker after her contract with Women's Super League rivals Manchester United expired.
Russo hit 10 goals in 20 WSL games last term as the Red Devils missed out on the title to Chelsea on the final day while also losing the Women's FA Cup final to Emma Hayes' Blues.
But after finally sealing her switch to the 15-time English champions, the Lionesses forward is hoping to add more trophies to the Euro 2022 title she won last summer.
Russo, 24, said: "I'm really excited to be here and I can't wait to get going.
"I want to win trophies — as does everyone in this club. I can't wait to get stuck in and grow as a player — it's a new challenge and a new environment.
"I think the growth of the women's game has been incredible, but particularly at a club like Arsenal.
"The sell-out against Wolfsburg at the Emirates last season was fantastic and I'm just really excited to be part of this club."
Russo will hope to star for England at the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand which kicks off later this month, after being named in Sarina Wiegman's squad.
With 11 goals in 22 Lionesses appearances to date, Gunners boss Jonas Eidevall is delighted to land a striker of Russo's calibre as the North Londoners look to improve on their third-place finish last season.
The Swedish boss said: "Alessia is one of the best forwards in the world and has significant potential to continue growing and improving.
"She has a proven track record of scoring goals in the WSL and at international level and we believe she will be a quality addition to our forward line, so we're all delighted to have brought her to the club."
The Lionesses hotshot is Arsenal's third signing of the summer after defender Amanda Ilestedt arrived from Paris Saint-Germain and forward Cloe Lacasse joined from Benfica.
