Wycombe maintained their four-point cushion at the top of League One with an entertaining 3-2 victory at Lincoln.

The Chairboys made it seven straight league wins as they won at Sincil Bank for the first time since 2011.

Lincoln struck first in the five-goal thriller as Tendayi Darikwa coolly slotted home his first goal since the opening day from Ben House’s cross.

Wycombe turned the game on its head before the break. Richard Kong levelled 10 minutes before the interval as he expertly took down Cam Humphreys cross to fire home.

Fred Onyedinma fired the visitors ahead just before half-time as he tapped home Dan Harvie’s daisy-cutter cross.

Dylan Duffy rattled the bar with a 25-yard strike 10 minutes into the second period, before Franco Ravizzoli kept out House’s header down the other end. George Wickens kept the hosts in the game when he kept out Luke Leahy’s penalty, after Onyedinma was felled, with his legs.

Joe Low added a third as he thundered home a header from Gareth McCleary’s cross with 18 minutes left.

Darikwa smashed home a strike from the edge of the box late on, but it proved too little too late for Michael Skubala’s side.
