Wolves vs Bournemouth predictions: Wolves revival set to continue
- Wolves have beaten Southampton and Fulham in successive games
- Bournemouth have lost their last two fixtures
- Recommended bet: Wolves to win
After failing to win any of their first 10 Premier League games, Wolves have finally found some form and they welcome Bournemouth to Molineux on the back of important victories over Southampton and Fulham.
Gary O'Neil's side have moved out of the relegation zone thanks to a 2-0 home success over Saints and a brilliant 4-1 win at Craven Cottage and they will be buoyant ahead of taking on a Cherries side who have, in contrast, lost their last two games against Brentford and Brighton.
Team news
Craig Dawson, Santi Bueno and Pedro Lima have all returned to training for Wolves this week and the trio could be back in the squad.
However, O'Neil still has several players absent, with Sasa Kalajdzic, Enso Gonzalez, Yerson Mosquera, Boubacar Traore and Bastien Meupiyou on the sidelines.
For the visitors, Antoine Semenyo is suspended but Ryan Christie is available again after serving his recent ban.
Julian Araujo, Alex Scott and Luis Sinisterra are all in the treatment room and unavailable for the Cherries.
The stats
Wolves are on a four-game unbeaten run following draws with Brighton and Crystal Palace and then victories over Southampton and Fulham.
Bournemouth have failed to win any of their last four away league games, losing three and drawing one.
Even though Wolves have only won one of their six home games in the top-flight this season, they have scored in every match at Molinuex.
Matheus Cunha is Wolves' top-scorer this term with seven goals, including four in his last four appearances.
Prediction
Wolves' dismal start to the season left them looking like relegation candidates as they began with seven defeats in their first eight games.
However, despite the early gloom, there were some positives to cling to as O'Neil's side were only narrowly beaten by one goal by Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester City and some of their performances deserved better than the results they got.
There is a brighter mood of optimism at Molineux now, though, following much-needed successive wins and the manner of their 4-1 triumph at Fulham last weekend suggests they are good enough to avoid a relegation scrap over the winter and next spring.
Bournemouth have been inconsistent for much of the campaign but there have been several stand-out moments with the home wins over last season's top two – Arsenal and Manchester City – particularly impressive.
Andoni Iraola's men have since suffered demoralising defeats against Brentford and Brighton and they are facing a Wolves side at a bad time after their recent upturn.
