The opening few days of Wimbledon have been heavily impacted by rain but there is a brighter forecast for Thursday and there are some excellent matchups on the cards.

There are all-British battles in both the men's and women's competitions, with Jack Draper up against Cameron Norrie, while Katie Boulter locks horns with Harriet Dart.

Elsewhere, Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek will be in action, while Jessica Pegula also takes to the courts at the All England Club.

Thursday, 2:15pm

Bet 1: Jack Draper to beat Cameron Norrie

Jack Draper is yet to beat Cameron Norrie but he could be in line for a career first when the pair clash in the second round at Wimbledon.

In the build-up to Wimbledon, Draper secured the Stuttgart Open title on grass and that moved him above Norrie in the world rankings.

British number one Draper was also in fine form at Queen's, beating Carlos Alcaraz en route to the quarter-finals, and he is a good accumulator pick to defeat his compatriot.

Bet 2: Yoshihito Nishioka to beat Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard

Although interrupted by the rain, Yoshihito Nishioka kept his cool to defeat Nuno Borges in four sets in the first round of Wimbledon and he can follow up by beating Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

Mpetshi Perricard pulled off one of the shocks of the first round this year when he defeated Sebastian Korda, but that was a draining match which featured five sets, four tie-breaks and went on for three hours and 21 minutes.

And given Frenchman Mpetshi Perricard had already gone through a busy qualifying campaign to reach the first round, he could be feeling a touch fatigued and is worth opposing against Nishioka.

Bet 3: Katie Boulter to beat Harriet Dart

The all-British matchup in the women's draw puts Katie Boulter against Harriet Dart with the pair having met in the Nottingham Open only last month.

And while Dart put up a fight in that contest, winning the first set on a tie-break, she went on to lose with Boulter going on to win the tournament, beating the likes of Magdalena Frech, Emma Raducanu and Karolina Pliskova in later rounds.

This is the first time Boulter is seeded at Wimbledon and she can march on to the third round at the expense of her compatriot.

Thursday, 11am

Bet 4: Jessica Pegula to beat Xinyu Wang

Jessica Pegula eased past fellow American Ashlyn Krueger 6-2 6-0 in the first round and she should also make light work of Chinese talent Xinyu Wang.

Pegula was underwhelming at the Eastbourne International but beforehand she won the Grass Court Championships in Berlin and she can show her class in this one.
