Titles, European berths and relegation spots will be decided in the coming weeks across the continent and this weekend we have picked out two games from Spain's La Liga, one from Germany's Bundesliga, one from France's Ligue 1 and one from Italy's Serie A for a five-fold.

Saturday, 1pm

Girona may have left it too late to forge a genuine push for the top six in LaLiga but a Europa Conference League qualifying berth is in their reach and they can maintain their strong run of form against Real Sociedad.

The Catalan side have won five of their last seven matches in LaLiga, seeing off Real Madrid and Sevilla in the process, and their main marksman Valentin Castellanos has been in particularly good form, striking six goals in his last three league games.

Their recent run featured a stunning 4-2 win over Real Madrid last month so they should not be fazed by top-four hopefuls Real Sociedad, who have won back-to-back matches but failed to win three of their five games beforehand.

Back Girona to avoid defeat at the Anoeta.

Saturday, 2.30pm

The clock is ticking for Bochum, who have only three matches to secure their Bundesliga status, starting with a home clash against Augsburg on Saturday.

This is a must-win fixture for Thomas Letsch's men who are only six points behind Augsburg in the standings and have picked up six of their eight league wins this term at their Vonovia Ruhrstadion home.

A 5-1 battering by Wolfsburg last month was humiliating but results have otherwise been okay — they beat Leipzig and held Eintracht Frankfurt, Union Berlin and Borussia Dortmund to draws in the last couple of months — and they can pick up a crucial three points.

Sunday, 12pm

Alexandre Lacazette has scored seven goals in his last five appearances for Lyon

Lyon were involved in arguably the game of the week last Sunday, having recovered from being 4-1 down just before the hour mark against Montpellier to win 5-4 at the Groupama Stadium.

In a sensational fixture, Elye Wahi scored all four goals for Lyon's opponents while Alexandre Lacazette scored four himself for Les Gones, who won courtesy of a 100th-minute penalty.

That was Lyon's fifth win in their last six games and as part of that run they have also seen off PSG, Rennes, Toulouse and Strasbourg.

Lacazette is in excellent goalscoring form and they can pull off another key win away to Clermont Foot.

Sunday, 2pm

With seventh spot out of reach in Serie A, Fiorentina's focus will undoubtedly be on their two-legged Europa Conference League semi-final with Basel and the upcoming Coppa Italia final against Inter later in the month.

But on Sunday they can tighten their stranglehold of eighth spot in the league with a win over Udinese, who are just below them in ninth but level on points.

Fiorentina lost 1-0 to champions Napoli last time out but on their own patch they have been pretty capable in the league, having gone six games unbeaten at home in Serie A.

They won their most recent home fixture in the league 5-0 against Sampdoria and are a decent bet to beat the club from Udine.

Sunday, 8pm

It could be party time in Barcelona this weekend with Xavi's side able to secure the LaLiga title with a win away to city rivals Espanyol on Sunday.

Barca are 13 points clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid with five matches to play and it has been a superb campaign with 60 goals scored and only 11 conceded in the process.

They have been particularly astute at the back recently, managing clean sheets against Osasuna, Real Betis, Atletico Madrid, Getafe, Girona and Elche since the beginning of April and they can at lowly Espanyol to their list of scalps.

Barca's rivals Espanyol could not be further from celebratory mood as they continue their battle against relegation and they could be nudged closer to the drop this weekend.
