Weekend acca predictions: Five teams to follow across Europe
Recommended bets:
- Monaco to beat Lille
- Borussia Dortmund to beat Eintracht Frankfurt
- Bayer Leverkusen to beat Freiburg
- Athletic Bilbao to beat Valencia
- AC Milan to beat Napoli
It is another jam-packed weekend schedule across the continent with key matches to look forward to in France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
Here is a look at some of the best bets to have on Sunday as part of our fivefold accumulator.
Sunday, 2pm
Lille have enjoyed a bit of an upturn in form since the start of October, posting wins over Le Havre, Brest and Slovan Bratislava in three of their last five games.
But on Sunday they could struggle to tame a Monaco side who have been the Ligue 1 pacesetters so far this term.
Monaco have recorded six wins from nine matches in France's top flight and are the division's top scorers with 23 goals — meaning they are averaging more than two goals per game.
In their last three games alone they have racked up seven goals and the principality club look overpriced to claim maximum points at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
Sunday, 2.30pm
Borussia Dortmund have made a stuttering start to the new campaign but since last month's 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, they have stabilised.
That group-stage defeat was followed by a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions, culminating in a 1-0 win away to Newcastle on Wednesday night.
They have won each of their last five league contests, easing to a 3-1 win against Hoffenheim in their most recent away game, and they are a solid bet to beat Eintracht Frankfurt.
Hosts Frankfurt have lost just once in the league this term but they have also struggled for wins, posting only three.
Their 6-0 win over HJK on Thursday hushed any suggestions about a blunt attack but Dortmund will represent a significant step-up in quality and Frankfurt should be opposed.
Sunday, 4.30pm
Heading into this weekend's matches, Bayer Leverkusen lead the way at the Bundesliga summit and they can ensure they finish the weekend top of the pile with victory over Freiburg.
Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen continue to go from strength to strength and have won seven of their eight league games this season.
That run has also seen them ship only seven goals and they can make life tough for Freiburg, who started the weekend down in eighth and have been underperforming.
Sunday, 5.30pm
Recent road defeats to Real Sociedad and Barcelona may have rocked Athletic Bilbao a little but they have a great chance of securing three points when they host Valencia on Sunday.
Athletic Bilbao have still won three of their last six games in LaLiga and opponents Valencia are not having a great time of it, having picked up maximum points in just one of their last five assignments.
They could struggle at the San Mames, where Athletic Bilbao are a decent odds-on selection.
Sunday, 7.45pm
Milan head into Sunday's headline clash with Napoli off the back of defeats to Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain but they can raise their game at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Against Juve, Milan were not helped by a 40th-minute red card picked up by Malick Thiaw in the 1-0 loss and they have generally been saving their strongest performances for the league this term.
Prior to the Juventus defeat they were on a four-game winning streak in Serie A and only rivals Inter were ahead of them in the standings heading into this weekend.
Napoli's most recent home game in Serie A ended in defeat to Fiorentina and Milan are worth backing to prevail.
