Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool will all join the summer scramble for Napoli defender Minjae Kim.

South Korea international Kim, 26, has been a revelation for Luciano Spalletti's runaway Serie A leaders this term, featuring in 36 of their 37 games across all competitions.

Only signed from Turkish outfit Fenerbahce last summer, Kim's current deal reportedly includes a £39million release clause.

According to The Mail, that has caught the interest of United, Spurs and the Reds, as well as German giants Bayern Munich and French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Napoli intend to offer their No3 fresh terms in the coming weeks to try and avoid losing him for a relatively modest fee.

Those efforts may prove in vain however, with the report suggesting Kim is keen to test himself in the Premier League.

Spurs will hope they hold an edge over their rivals due to the presence of Kim's international captain Heung-Min Son in their ranks.

But Napoli, who have a commanding 16-point lead in the league and are among the favourites for Champions League glory, will not give up their star defender without a fight.

Describing Kim earlier this season, Spalletti said: "For me, he truly is the best centre-back in the world.

"When he starts the run with the ball at his feet, he can get it into the opposition penalty area in five seconds flat."
