Barcelona are considering a move for Erling Haaland in 2025 when the Manchester City superstar will be available for £150million.

LaLiga rivals Real Madrid have long been regarded as Haaland's most likely suitor when his Citizens spell ends but 90min claim the Blaugrana are keen to put their names in the hat.

Barca currently have Robert Lewandowski leading their line at the Camp Nou and Haaland, 23, is seen as the perfect option to replace the 35-year-old.

After a stunning first season in the Premier League, City are already working on agreeing a new contract for their star striker.

Haaland signed a five-year deal at the Etihad last summer but it included a number of release clauses, so club chiefs are keen to protect themselves by penning new terms.

City team-mate Bernardo Silva could head to Catalonia next summer despite recently signing a new contract.

Mundo Deportivo say the Portuguese playmaker negotiated a release clause in the deal he signed which will allow him to depart for £50m at the end of the current campaign.
