Napoli 2-3 Real Madrid: Bellingham stars as Real win late
Jude Bellingham put on a show to help Real Madrid to a 3-2 victory at Napoli in the Champions League.
Leo Skiri Ostigard put Napoli in front in the 19th minute when he headed home after Natan's effort came back off the crossbar.
Vinicius Junior equalised for Real when he was played through on goal by Bellingham and converted from a tight angle.
The England midfielder then produced a stunning solo effort when he picked up the ball deep and weaved through the hosts' backline before curling home inside the box.
In the second half, Napoli came out with a point to prove and were rewarded when Piotr Zielinski levelled from the penalty spot after Victor Osimhen's effort was blocked by Nacho Fernandez's arm.
However, Real scored a last-gasp winner as Federico Valverde's long-range strike cannoned off the crossbar and went in off the back of goalkeeper Alex Meret to claim all three points.
The win sees Carlo Ancelotti's side move to the summit of Group C with six points from their opening two games after beating Union Berlin 1-0 in their first fixture.
Napoli sit second above third-placed Braga on head-to-head results after edging past the Portuguese outfit 2-1.
After the match, the Real manager praised Bellingham for his maturity.
He said: "What surprises about Bellingham is that he is 20 years old.
"He has a lot of quality, but also incredible maturity and character for his age. That is what is really surprising."
