Jumps racing is in for a busy midweek with four meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday.

Our focus is on the action at Ludlow, which gets underway at 1pm and concludes with the 4pm contest.

Conditions are forecast to be 'Good to soft' and we've picked out five to follow on the card.

1pm — Racing To School Fillies' Juvenile Hurdle (1m7½f)

French import Ile De Jersey debuts here for Nicky Henderson and has shown an aptitude already for hurdling. She could be the answer in this opener but GALAH isn't dismissed out of hand either.

The Australia filly had won over hurdles on her third attempt at Doncaster (2m½f, soft) in December before coming up well shy back there in a Listed race last month. She is having her sights lowered now.

LiveScore Selection: Galah

1.30pm — Visit racingtv.com Novices' Handicap Chase (1m7½f)

It would be hard to knock the attitude of Newcastle winner Cenotice, but Donald McCain's scorer was all out in that win three weeks ago and faces a useful rival here in GALOP DE CHASSE for in-form trainer Venetia Williams.

He's run well in two of his three starts for this yard, winning at Lingfield in December then finishing second at Huntingdon (2m½f, good to soft) 11 days ago, with his run at Chepstow in between times too poor to be true.

He was giving a major chunk of weight away to the winner last time and could fare much better on these terms in a finish.

LiveScore Selection: Galop De Chasse

2pm — Acol Bridge Club 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle (1m7½f)

A winner at Wetherby in November over 2m, Lakota Warrior was held back there over Christmas under a penalty and again must concede 7lb to this field now.

ZUCAYAN was thrice-placed in bumpers — two on grass, one on all-weather — before being unable to see things out from the front in a stronger contest at Lingfield's Winter Million Festival recently (again on Polytrack).

Fergal O'Brien's charge switches to hurdles now and should do well.

LiveScore Selection: Zucayan

2.30pm - Attwood Memorial Trophy Handicap Chase (2m4f)

An open feature contest this. Quoi De Neuf, Gortroe Joe and Chambard are players but ISOLATE is just about preferred.

Alan King's charge was a winner over 2m2f at Kempton in November on good ground and might have doubled his chasing tally over this C&D last month had he jumped with more fluency (finished second). Tom Cannon is back on board now and this consistent six-year-old should go well.

LiveScore Selection: Isolate

3pm — Suzuki ATV Mares' Handicap Hurdle (2m5f)

Bellatrixsa ran well in second at Chepstow (2m3½f, soft) last month on what was her first start since June.

She is eased another 1lb by the assessor and potentially is well-handicapped. Golden Horn mare TRAPISTA was a decisive winner on hurdles bow at Huntingdon (2m3½f, good) in the autumn and has since found herself in a warm Mares' Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham's International Meeting in December where she shaped well.

This is not as tough on paper and Jonjo O'Neill's runner should have more to come.

LiveScore Selection: Trapista

4pm — Chase Meredith Memorial Trophy Open Hunters' Chase (2m7½f)

Not That Fuisse heading back to Ludlow

Though not one of the stars at Willie Mullins' yard last year, Pont Aven proved himself a solid performer in handicaps. He has changed hands since and began life for new connections by winning a point-to-point last month.

He has got decent claims here. NOT THAT FUISSE was third on his Hunter Chase bow for Dan Skelton last month over C&D and will have strong claims again if he can keep the mistake count down.

LiveScore: Not That Fuisse
