The St Leger Festival continues to unfold on Thursday

It is day two of the St Leger Festival at Doncaster oand the fillies and mares take centre stage with Group 2s via the May Hills Stakes and the Park Hill Stakes.

Racing is from 1.10pm until 4.15pm and conditions are forecast to be 'good to firm' on Town Moor.

We have picked out five horses to follow on the card.

1.40pm - British Stallion Studs EBF 'Carrie Red' Fillies' Nursery (6½f)

Ralph Beckett's DAIQUIRI FRANCAIS may prove more than equal to an opening mark of 78 in the 'Carrie Red' Fillies' Nursery over 6½-furlongs.

The daughter of Havana Gold is 2-3 thus far, twice winning around Windsor and doing so most recently from the front under a penalty on ground softer than ideal.

She looks to have plenty scope for better moving into handicaps.

Dora Penny, Summer's Day and Allayaali should be serving up the questions to her.

LiveScore selection: Daiquiri Francais

2.40pm - Cazoo May Hill Stakes (Fillies' Group 2, 1m)

The May Hill revolves around unbeaten Frankel filly INSPIRAL for John and Thady Gosden.

She looked potentially top-drawer when making it 2-2 with a decisive Listed win at Sandown in July and that form stands to scrutiny.

She is already being touted for next year's 1000 Guineas and Frankie Dettori's mount is the one to beat.

Prosperous Voyage could make the frame, while Speak is another with scope for good things after a taking debut win.

LiveScore selection: Inspiral

3.15pm - Hippo Pro3 Park Hill Fillies' Stakes (Fillies' And Mares' Group 2, 1m6½f)

EILEENDOVER may have each-way potential in this Group 2. She has proven stamina and showed it over this trip at Newmarket last time with a decisive success.

Her July run at HQ saw her behind Golden Pass (first) and Free Wind (second) over shorter but she is no forlorn hope at this increased trip.

Tribal Craft is another key player in what looks like a wide-open contest.

LiveScore selection: Eileendover

3.45pm - Cazoo Handicap (7f)

Modern News defied an 11-month absence to score at Newmarket in July and has scope for further improvement, while last month's C&D winner Motawaajed is not harshly treated having gone up only 2lb and seems sure to give a good account.

ATASER won 3-5 as a juvenile last term, including over C&D, and Terry Kent's colt should find this more reasonable than June's seasonal bow in the fiercely competitive Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot.

He is one that could spring a big effort.

LiveScore selection: Ataser

4.15pm - Hilton Garden Inn Doncaster Conditions Stakes (1m2f)

SINJAARI had a rather luckless time of it at York (1m2½f, good) last month on his first start for the Roger Charlton team after 222 days out.

He had to sit and wait for a gap to appear and, once he got that, he met further trouble in challenging before rattling home fast to finish second in a 13-runner Class 2 handicap.

Ryan Moore takes over now and they can thrive in what may be a tactical affair.

LiveScore selection: Sinjaari
