Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

It has been a mixed start to the season for Aston Villa, who have beaten Everton and Burnley with ease, only to lose by big margins when stepping up in class against Newcastle and Liverpool.

Only Arsenal have beaten Crystal Palace, who are in a comfortable seventh position after their win against Wolves before the international break. The hosts have the edge but it will be tight.

Prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 Crystal Palace

Manchester United vs Brighton (Saturday, 3pm)

Manchester United have a tough home match against Brighton
Manchester United have a tough home match against Brighton

Manchester United have lost two tough away games against Tottenham and Arsenal. They have tasted victory in their home matches against Wolves and Nottingham Forest but in an unconvincing manner.

Brighton have won three of their four games, with their latest victory seeing them impress with a 3-1 victory over Newcastle. They have the potential to make this another difficult afternoon for the hosts.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-2 Brighton

West Ham vs Manchester City (Saturday, 3pm)

Despite some difficult opening fixtures, West Ham are unbeaten after four games and are fourth in the Premier League.

Yet as bright as the Hammers have been, it is hard to bet against Manchester City, who have made a perfect start to the season with four straight wins. Back the visitors to edge it.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Manchester City

Newcastle vs Brentford (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Newcastle have been dealt an unkind fixture list to start the season and have lost each of their last three games.

They will hope to bounce back against Brentford at home but the Bees are unbeaten with a win and three draws. Though class should tell, it could be tight.

Prediction: Newcastle 3-2 Brentford

Bournemouth vs Chelsea (Sunday, 2pm)

Chelsea have only won one Premier League game this season
Chelsea have only won one Premier League game this season

Chelsea went into the international break off the back of a humiliating home defeat against Nottingham Forest. After four games they only have four points and are 12th.

Bournemouth are yet to win this season but even in defeats to Liverpool and Spurs they have caused problems for the opposition. They could provide more frustration for the Blues.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Chelsea

Everton vs Arsenal (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Struggling Everton badly need a win. Arsenal are not ideal opponents at such a time, especially after their dramatic comeback victory against Manchester United.

Mikel Arteta's team have made an unbeaten start to the season and have 10 points from four games. We can expect them to claim another three on Sunday.

Prediction: Everton 0-3 Arsenal
