The fifth and final day of the Goodwood Festival takes place on Saturday and it is a day for the sprinters, with the Stewards' Cup taking centre stage.

The feature race on the card is due to go off at (3.35pm), while there is also the Group 3 Glorious Stakes (1.50pm) to open the card and the Group 2 Lillie Langtry Stakes (3.00pm), which is a staying race for fillies and mares.

Here is everything you need to know for day five, including the day's best bets.

Day 5 - Key info

First race: 1.50pm Glorious Stakes

Feature race: 3.35pm Stewards' Cup

The Stewards' Cup is one of the biggest sprint handicaps of the entire season and this year it has attracted a bumper entry of 28 runners who will hurtle down the Goodwood straight. The draw can be key and often low numbers are favoured.

The market for the race this year is headed by Dark Trooper, who proved he is well suited to big-field sprint handicaps like this when taking second in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot and he bids to go one better this time.

The opening Glorious Stakes (1.50pm) has attracted a strong field of older horses, some of whom are on the fringes of Group 1 class, while the Lillie Langtry Stakes (3.00pm) features Free Wind and Melo Melo, who both bring Group 1 form to the table.

Best bet of the day

Al Aasy to win the Glorious Stakes (1.50pm) @ 3/1

William Haggas and Jim Crowley partner up with Al Aasy
William Haggas and Jim Crowley partner up with Al Aasy

There are not many horses who travel better through their race than Al Aasy and he is fancied to reverse the places with Phantom Flight, who beat him on his return at Newbury last time.

Al Aasy was probably in need of that first outing since last October and he was given a lot to do at the back of the field. He did remarkably well to make up ground on the winner, but could not get closer than the length that he was beaten.

He will probably be closer to him this time and it will not take much improvement for Al Aasy to go one better.

Best each-way bet of the day

Seven Questions in the Stewards' Cup (3.35pm) @ 22/1

Class can count for a lot in big handicaps like this and Seven Questions has been competing in a higher grade. He was last seen finishing 10th in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot and had previously taken third in a Group 2 at Haydock in May.

A reproduction of that form would give Seven Questions an excellent chance now that he returns to handicap company off a mark of 106 and he has a low draw in stall five. It often pays to be in a single-figure stall in this race, especially when the ground is riding quick.

Day Five acca

Everybody loves an accumulator and we will be pointing towards one on each of the five days this week. On day five, our treble pays 344/1 with LiveScore Bet.

Bet 1: Back Al Aasy in the Glorious Stakes (1.50pm) @ 3/1

This class act was given too much to do when second on his seasonal reappearance at Newbury last time and is capable of better if ridden closer to the pace.

Bet 2: Back Free Wind in the Lillie Langtry Stakes (3.00pm) @ 11/4

Free Wind is a class apart from these rivals if she shows her best and she should find this easier than when chasing home Bluestocking over an inadequate 1m21/2f at York last time.

Bet 3: Back Seven Questions in the Stewards' Cup (3.35pm) @ 22/1

Seven Questions has been competing at a high level since winning a Group 3 at Newmarket at the start of the season and that class might show now that he is dropped in grade in this big-field handicap.
