- England have scored two or more goals in eight of their last 12 games
- Bosnia-Herzegovina have conceded 13 goals in their last four matches

Over 3.5 England goals

England's penultimate game before the European Championships takes place at St James' Park on Monday evening, with Gareth Southgate's side taking on Bosnia-Herzegovina.

With Southgate having to cut the current 33-man squad down to 26, there will be shortage of players in the camp hoping to impress and secure their place on the plane to Germany.

Team news

Jude Bellingham will not be involved for England, due to his involvement in Saturday's Champions League final, while Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire are both injured.

Marc Guehi, Lewis Dunk, Jarrad Branthwaite, Jarell Quansah and Ezri Konsa will all be hoping to get the nod at centre-back alongside John Stones, with Kieran Trippier or Joe Gomez set to start at left-back.

Ollie Watkins, Ivan Toney, Anthony Gordon, Eberechi Eze, Jarrod Bowen, Cole Palmer and Adam Wharton will also be eager to be given a chance to impress.

Bosnia captain Edin Dzeko is a well-known name in the travelling part, as is Sheffield United's Anel Ahmedhodzic and Fenerbahce's Rade Krunic.

The stats

England are on a three-game run without a victory, with draws against North Macedonia and Belgium coming either side of a 1-0 defeat to Brazil.

The Three Lions have failed to score in just one of their last 15 fixtures and they have netted at least twice in eight of their last 12 assignments.

Bosnia failed to qualify for the European Championships and they have lost four in a row heading into this contest, conceding 13 goals in which four came against Luxembourg.

Sergej Barbarez's troops have kept just one clean sheet in their last 10 outings, while they have let in 14 goals in their last six away games.

Prediction

England are blessed with a plethora of attacking talents and a number of those players will be looking to press their claims of being included in Southgate's Euro 2024 squad.

With a place on the plane to Germany so close, the Three Lions should put in an entertaining performance and they should score a few goals past a Bosnia side struggling at the back.

England scored 22 goals during European Championship qualifying, putting the likes of Malta and North Macedonia to the sword, and Bosnia are arguably weaker than both of those nations.

Barbarez's lost both home and away to Luxembourg during their failed attempt to qualify for the Euros and it would be no surprise to see their net bulge at least four times on Monday.
