Crewe completed a late comeback at Bromley to seal their first win of the League Two season.

A quick opening saw Lewis Leigh give Bromley an early lead, the former Crewe loanee exchanging passes with Michael Cheek before firing into the roof of the net after just two minutes.

Shilow Tracey had Crewe’s best chance of the first half when he ran through on goal but just as he was about to pull the trigger Idris Odutayo’s timely interception prevented him.

Moments before the interval Grant Smith then had to be at his best, tipping away Jamie Knight-Lebel’s curling effort.

The second half saw Crewe continue to have the majority of the possession but they were only able to make that count seven minutes from time.

Joel Tabinor’s inswinging free-kick was superbly volleyed past Grant Smith by Micky Demetriou to net Crewe’s first goal of the season.

Crewe pressed for a winner in the final moments and both Jack Lankester and Kane Hemmings missed golden opportunities to win the game.

But the Railwaymen were not to be denied when Chris Long headed home in time added on to seal the victory.
