Chelsea legend Terry returns to Stamford Bridge in coaching role
Former Chelsea captain John Terry has announced his return to the club in a coaching capacity.
Terry made more than 700 appearances for the Blues between 1998-2017, captaining them to five Premier League titles among numerous other trophies.
And now the 42-year-old is back in the mix at Stamford Bridge, saying on Twitter that he has taken on a role with the club's academy.
The ex-England captain is out of work having formed part of Dean Smith's coaching staff at relegated Leicester in the final weeks of last season.
He was also one of Smith's assistants at Aston Villa between 2018-21, a period in which the club were promoted to the Premier League and survived in its first season back in the top flight.
