Arsenal celebrate academy star Saka with Hale End Collection
Arsenal have celebrated their thriving Hale End Academy in the club's latest clothing range release.
The starting point in the career of first-team star Bukayo Saka and countless others, the Hale End Collection honours the Gunners' record of developing future talents on and off the pitch.
To do so, designer Naomi Brady has created a 10-piece collection inspired by details of Hale End.
Saka, 22, who has scored 51 goals in 210 Arsenal appearances since coming through the academy, said: "I am so proud to be part of the fabric of Hale End.
"So many Strong Young Gunners have come through our academy and I look back on my time there with pride and many happy memories.
"I love that we're celebrating Hale End with this amazing new collection, and it's fantastic to see the club supporting creative Arsenal supporters to bring this to life.
"We have such a strong connection with our supporters, and we hope they love this collection as much as we do."
Designer Brady was selected after showing a strong understanding of London streetwear and is another example of Arsenal supporting emerging talent from the creative world.
The proud Gooner said: "This opportunity has given me the platform to create a body of work that I'm really proud of.
"Arsenal is known for giving opportunities to young people and it's so inspiring to see the club backing their supporters and building on the cultural connection between football and design.
"Arsenal gave complete creative freedom, and I'm so happy with the outcome. It felt incredible to see Bukayo wearing my design."
The 10-piece Hale End collection features a windbreaker jacket, sweatshirt and hoody and is available to buy now on Arsenal Direct.
