Manchester United are plotting another raid on Real Madrid to land rising star Eduardo Camavinga.

Casemiro has been a sensation since swapping the Bernabeu for Old Trafford last summer but an injury to Christian Eriksen has highlighted a lack of midfield depth.

And according to reports in Spain, Erik ten Hag is willing to shell out £115million to partner the Brazilian destroyer, 31, with his former team-mate.

Los Blancos are not believed to be interested in a sale but may be tempted to part with Camavinga, who arrived in Madrid from Rennes in 2021, if the price is right.

At 20, the six-cap French international would be a long-term asset for United, who are also reportedly keen to make Marcel Sabitzer's loan deal permanent.

Ten Hag's revival had fans dreaming of a quadruple after he secured the Carabao Cup but a 7-0 thrashing by Liverpool brought them crashing back down to earth.

A new striker is another priority for the Red Devils with Tottenham talisman Harry Kane and Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen among the names being mentioned.

A summer clear-out will be necessary to fund their moves, with ESPN reporting that Harry Maguire is on the chopping block.
