Harry Kane’s mega-money move to Manchester City has reportedly been given the green light by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

According to The Sun, Levy has told England captain Kane, 27, that Spurs are now willing to sell to another Premier League club — paving the way for the champions to swoop.

The transfer fee is set to be an eye-watering £160million, which will more than double City’s previous record when shelling out £68.4m to land Kevin De Bruyne in 2015.

They will also gazump the Premier League record of £89.3m that arch-rivals Manchester United paid Juventus for Paul Pogba’s services back in 2016.

It is thought City will offer Kane a £400,000-per-week wage packet, with the length of deal set to be either four or five years.

Kane, who has netted a staggering 221 goals in 336 games for Spurs, expressed his wish to depart his boyhood club after a disappointing seventh-placed finish in 2020-21 saw them miss out on Champions League football.

Having since gone on to net four goals in England's magnificent run to the Euro 2020 final this summer, it seems Levy believes now is the perfect time to cash in on the club's most prized asset.

The move will likely see Spurs reinvest much of their windfall, with a move for Sevilla winger Bryan Gil thought to be nearing completion.

Atalanta defender Cristian Romero has also been heavily linked and the Daily Mail say an initial £34m bid has been submitted.

Heung-Min Son has committed his future to Tottenham

Meanwhile, Kane’s long-term partner-in-crime Heung Min-Son has given Spurs fans something to smile about by signing a new four-year deal.

The South Korea captain, 29, racked up 17 goals and 10 assists in his 37 Premier League games last term and has a total of 70 English top-flight strikes to his name since joining in 2015.

Kylian Mbappe wants to swap Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid

Mbappe, 22, has been a long-term target of Los Blancos and is ready to depart, despite PSG’s pursuit of international team-mate and friend Pogba.

The Daily Express claim PSG's capture of Sergio Ramos has handed Chelsea a boost in their pursuit of Presnel Kimpembe.

Kimpembe, 25, enjoyed a strong relationship with Blues boss Thomas Tuchel during the German’s spell in Paris and feels the recent arrival of Ramos could harm his game time.
