Franck Haise's Lens may have bowed out of Europe in midweek but can use their strong home record domestically to bounce back

There is a plenty of quality footballing action across Europe on Sunday, with a combined 17 matches coming from LaLiga, Ligue 1, Serie A and the Bundesliga.

League leaders PSG, Inter Milan and Real Madrid are all in action while Borussia Dortmund have an intriguing tie against Hoffenheim and there is a mouthwatering clash in Italy later as AC Milan take on in-form Atalanta.

We have you covered with our five best bets on the day, with a five-fold combining for odds of 29/1 with LiveScore Bet.

Lens have won more home games than any other Ligue 1 side since the start of last season, winning 23 matches at Stade Bollaert-Delelis in that time, which is bad news for Monaco, who have won only one of their last five fixtures and were bounced out of the Coupe de France by third-tier Rouen earlier this month.

The hosts have won five of their last six home games, only losing to giants Paris Saint-Germain in that run, and have lost only one of their last 17 home clashes with the Red and Whites.

Lens beat solid Ligue 1 outfits Lyon, Marseille and Reims in that sequence, suggesting they should be too strong for Adi Hutter’s inconsistent Monaco side in France’s lunchtime fixture.

Napoli made the bold call to sack their second manager of the season when Walter Mazzarri was dismissed on Monday, but they immediately got their rewards as they held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw in the Champions League just two days later.

They looked much improved in that match — thanks in no small part to the return of star man Victor Osimhen — and a repeat of that performance would surely see them sweep aside Cagliari, who have lost four of their last five matches and are sitting second bottom in Serie A.

Sunday, 4.30pm

Edin Terzic's Borussia Dortmund are enjoying an 11-match unbeaten streak

Borussia Dortmund snapped Hoffenheim’s four-game winning run when taking the reverse fixture 3-1 and that result seems to have had lasting damage on the losers that day.

Hoffenheim have gone on to win just three of their subsequent 16 Bundesliga matches and are now on a run of eight without a victory, drawing with bottom-three sides Darmstadt and Cologne in that sequence.

Given that Borussia Dortmund are unbeaten in 17 matches against teams outside the Bundesliga's top six this season and have won their last two home games by an aggregate score of 6-1, the hosts should be taken to win this in front of the famous Yellow Wall.

Sunday, 6.30pm

Publicidad

Freiburg have endured a difficult run but their 3-2 Europa League win over Lens, who were in the play-off as they had dropped out of the Champions League, should give them some added confidence ahead of their trip to Augsburg.

Luckily for the visitors they boast an excellent record against these foes, avoiding defeat in the last 10 head-to-heads and winning the last six by an aggregate score of 16-2, suggesting they may have the edge in this clash between two inconsistent sides.

Sunday, 7.45pm

Marseille have been inconsistent this term but their home form has remained exceptional as they are the only Ligue 1 side yet to lose a league game on their own patch this season and they recorded a solid 3-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk at the Stade Velodrome on Thursday.

That is bad news for poor travellers Montpellier who have lost five of their last six Ligue 1 away matches and, given they have failed to beat Marseille in their last 10 meetings, the hosts look set to take this one.
