Saudi clubs had until Thursday, September 7 to get deals over the line.

And with the likes of Neymar, Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane joining Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East, there have been plenty of huge names on the move.

Merih Demiral

Former Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral joined Al-Ahli on a three-year deal after spending the last two seasons at Atalanta.

Roberto Firmino

Roberto Firmino, 31, decided to join Al-Ahli on a free transfer after leaving Liverpool. The Brazilian ace signed a three-year deal with the Jeddah-based outfit.

During his eight years with the Reds, the 55-cap international helped them lift the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Roger Ibanez

Al-Ahli bolstered their defence with the signing of Roger Ibanez from Roma on a four-year deal.

Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie departed Barcelona after just a year with the Catalan club to join Al-Ahli.

The 26-year-old moved to LaLiga on a free transfer from AC Milan last summer but will now ply his trade in Saudi behind an exciting forward line.
