Saturday's Premier League Bet Builder tips: Cherries to pose threat
- Bournemouth have scored in 18 of their last 19 games in all competitions
- Only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah have scored more than Dominic Solanke
- Bukayo Saka has had 18 shots in his last four games
After a busy midweek mix of European and domestic action, the Premier League takes centre stage on Saturday before Sunday's Carabao Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea.
Here we focus on two of Saturday's standout games, with Manchester City visiting Bournemouth and Arsenal hosting Newcastle.
Bournemouth vs Manchester City (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Bet 1: Over two goals
Both of these teams are in solid goalscoring form. Bournemouth have netted in 18 of their last 19 games and can contribute to an entertaining clash.
Of Manchester City's last 12 Premier League road games, 10 have featured three goals or more and the same looks possible in Saturday's game, with the home team unlikely to go down without a fight.
Bet 2: Dominic Solanke to score
Dominic Solanke has been a major revelation for Bournemouth this season, netting 14 times in 24 league games.
Only Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland have scored more and the Cherries striker could find the net again in this clash.
Solanke scored in his team's 2-2 draw with Newcastle last time out and is fancied to find the net once more here.
Bet 3: Ryan Christie to register an assist
Ryan Christie has been integral to Bournemouth's success this term and has registered 3.6 expected assists in the league.
The Scot has only registered two assists and is due an improvement in his team-mates' finishing so take him to lay on a goal for a colleague against the Citizens.
Arsenal vs Newcastle (Saturday, 8pm)
Bet 1: Bukayo Saka to have three or more shots
The left side of Newcastle's defence has been exposed throughout this season and the same could happen here when Dan Burn lines up against Bukayo Saka.
The Arsenal forward has had 18 shots in his last four league games and is fancied to have three or more in this one.
Bet 2: Over five cards in the match
The last meeting between Newcastle and Arsenal was a physical affair, with six cards handed out in a controversial 1-0 win for the Magpies.
The memories of that occasion may still irk the Gunners and this could be another card-heavy clash, making over five in the game a real possibility.
Bet 3: Both teams to score
Both teams have scored in Newcastle's last seven Premier League games and that run looks set to continue against one of the highest-scoring teams in the division.
The Magpies have not netted at the Emirates since 2014 but their current mood suggests that could change here, while Arsenal's home record shows they are hardly shot shy on their own patch.
