LiveScore Racing Preview: Hamilton, September 1, 2021
Hamilton Park have an evening of action on the level, with seven races from 4.50pm until 7.50pm and the going set to be 'good' at the Scottish circuit.
The Weatherbys Bloodstock Pro 2-Y-O Series Final Nursery at 5.50pm is the feature race and we have picked five horses for you to follow.
4.50pm - EBF Novice Stakes (5f)
Having made a winning start at Musselburgh (5f, good) in late July, EDWARD CORNELIUS ran well in second conceding weight back there early last month for Keith Dalgleish and Callum Rodriguez behind another promising sort.
He has once more got to ship lead to these rivals but had got more progress in him.
LiveScore selection: Edward Cornelius
5.50pm - Weatherbys Bloodstock Pro 2-Y-O Series Final Nursery (6f)
Top-weight I'm A Gambler counted a C&D win among his double score prior to being well held in a much stronger York contest recently.
The hat-trick was denied but he could soon bounce back for trainer Mark Johnston.
But RYAN'S PARTY comes into this on the up, following his C&D maiden win 15 days ago. An opening mark of 78 does not seem prohibitive for Kevin Ryan's son of Mehmas and he can take another step forward.
LiveScore selection: Ryan's Party
6.20pm - Careers In Racing With scottishracingacademy.co.uk Handicap (1m3f)
Carlisle scorer Molinari has plenty more on his plate here on paper and is one to oppose from 3lb higher as such.
RICHES AND RUBIES, a filly by Uncle Mo, certainly seemed to appreciate the step up in trip at Beverley (1m4f, good to firm) three weeks ago when taking a maiden handicap, never stronger than close to the line.
She is also 3lb higher now but could have plenty more to give at his sort of trip.
LiveScore selection: Riches And Rubies
7.20pm - Flower Of Scotland Fillies' Handicap (6f)
Ey Up It's Maggie has been in good form and was not beaten far in a stronger York contest at the Ebor Meeting recently. She ought to be involved at the business end.
Former course winner Soapys Sister needs considering but IRIS DANCER has been hammering at the door in four starts since joining this trainer — and only a short-head denied her here last week.
She looked a touch unlucky in the run and, while this is a higher grade, she could gain compensation.
LiveScore selection: Iris Dancer
7.50pm - Hamiltonpark.co.uk Handicap (1m1f)
Richard Fahey's Hot Team is a former C&D winner and he was third at Chester a month ago.
He races from the same mark now and should have claims but the Pontefract failure of TEMPER TRAP can be overlooked.
Penalised for winning here a few days prior, he was too keen in that amateur riders' contest and weakened tamely late on.
David Allan is back on board now and the 4YO can go well back here.
LiveScore selection: Temper Trap
