There is another busy Saturday of Premier League action to look forward to with the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool all featuring.

In total there are seven matches taking place in the top flight across the day and our expert writers have provided their top selections from all of those games.

Newcastle vs Manchester City (12.30pm)

Manchester City's midweek win over Watford continued an interesting trend, with it being the fourth time in five competitive matches that either three or four goals were scored.

Newcastle, who lost for the first time this season last weekend, also played their part in a four-goal game at Craven Cottage, with that being their third successive match in which three or four goals were scored.

City's league fixtures this season have averaged 3.6 goals per game, and backing three or four goals to be scored again looks a good choice.

Arsenal vs Leicester (3pm)

The Gunners have already kept three clean sheets in five league games this season, recording shutouts in their victories over Wolves, Aston Villa and Tottenham and they should be able to stand firm against City.

Arsenal have kept three clean sheets in their last four Premier League meetings with Leicester and another one should follow in victory for the Gunners here.

Brentford vs West Ham (3pm)

New West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui is already having a tough time and, while most of his issues revolve around the Hammers losing their opening three home league games of the season, a trip to Brentford may not offer much salvation to the beleaguered Spaniard.

Brentford have already seen off Crystal Palace and Southampton at home this term and a 4-2 loss to Newcastle on the final day of last season is the only defeat they have suffered in their last eight league matches at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Chelsea vs Brighton (3pm)

While Chelsea's results have improved, their last three wins have come against Bournemouth, West Ham and Barrow, with the latter coming in the Carabao Cup.

Brighton will provide a much sterner test than all of those sides, with Fabian Hurzeler getting the best out of his team already.

The Seagulls have only won one in four, but three draws, including a 1-1 tie against Arsenal, suggest Brighton are tough to beat and can mix it with the best teams in the league.

Fabian Hurzeler has made Brighton a difficult nut to crack this season

Everton vs Crystal Palace (3pm)

It is hard to trust Everton from a defensive perspective and Crystal Palace's pacey attack, spearheaded by Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze, should be able to carve out plenty of goalscoring moments.

That said, Palace have conceded twice in three of their five games this season against Brentford, West Ham and Leicester and they too have defensive frailties to improve upon.

Nottingham Forest vs Fulham (3pm)

Nottingham Forest and Fulham will probably be quite content with the way the season has started, with the Midlands outfit being one of just four Premier League teams still undefeated after five games, and it could be that they prove difficult to split at the City Ground.

Fulham performed well at Manchester United on the opening night of the season before being stung by a late goal and they have built on that promise by being undefeated in their subsequent four matches.

Wolves vs Liverpool (5.30pm)

Liverpool have shown few signs of distress in the early days of Arne Slot’s era and they should be able to make hay at Wolves, who have one point from five games and have leaked 14 goals.

So Liverpool, having scored at least three goals in four of their last five matches, could run riot with Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah in such imperious form.
