There are again only four Premier League matches this Saturday – here are our expert writers’ top selections for each of those fixtures.

Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Liverpool are not yet back to their form of 2021-22, but three impressive wins on the bounce show that Jurgen Klopp’s men are heading in the right direction.

Last season, trips to struggling opponents posed no problem for the Reds, who scored three or more goals in six of nine away games at teams finishing outside the top 11 of the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest may improve as players return from injury and manager Steve Cooper settles upon his most cohesive line-up, but for now they seem a long way from that point.

Dutching your stake between the 3-0 and 4-0 correct scores at 6/1 and 19/2 respectively with LiveScore Bet pays at just over 3/1 if either score lands.

Everton vs Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

The arrival of Crystal Palace will spark fond memories for Everton supporters following May’s dramatic, season-saving victory over the Eagles.

But that game was played in special circumstances given it meant everything to Everton and little to a Palace side who had long-since secured their safety and noticeably eased off after taking a 2-0 lead.

This weekend’s meeting will be an altogether different affair with both teams equally determined to win, but they may have to settle for a point apiece and the draw and under 2.5 goals at 27/10 via LiveScore Bet looks a solid option.

Both teams have struggled for goals, with Everton netting just three in five home games this term and Palace scoring just three in four away games.

And while Patrick Vieira’s men did create openings at home to Wolves in midweek, a record of four draws and two defeats in their last six Premier League away games makes them hard to trust against risk-averse Everton.

Manchester City vs Brighton (Saturday, 3pm)

Pep Guardiola will be demanding an immediate response from Manchester City

While there was obvious disappointment in both the dropping of points and the level of performance at Anfield last weekend, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will not be overly concerned.

However, he will demand that his players put that performance behind them with a show of strength against Brighton.

None of the Seagull’s four performances under Roberto De Zerbi have offered cause for concern — they could have won at Liverpool, deserved a point against Tottenham and Brentford, and peppered the Nottingham Forest goal but drew 0-0.

But an inability to turn chances into goals will be a serious problem at the Etihad, where City will control much of the game.

Brighton could find themselves overwhelmed and the 13/10 available with LiveScore Bet for Manchester City -2 goals on the spread looks a decent price.

Chelsea vs Manchester United (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Manchester United deserve plaudits for taking ten points from four home games against teams in the top seven but they have yet to convince on the road, beating only Southampton, Everton and Leicester and each by just a single-goal margin.

Chelsea have put together a seven-match unbeaten run under Graham Potter, but while they look more resilient, keeping five consecutive clean sheets, they have not always been convincing.

The Blues were fortunate in victories against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa — and also against West Ham prior to Potter’s arrival — while draws at Brentford and at home to Salzburg fail to inspire.

That is perhaps understandable given the managerial change and injuries, but neither team at Stamford Bridge is likely to be too disappointed with a point and the draw and under 2.5 goals at 7/2 with LiveScore Bet looks an attractive price.
