Moyes: It’s my turn

David Moyes is hoping it is his turn to win a trophy as West Ham look to overturn their first-leg deficit against Eintracht Frankfurt and reach the Europa League final.

The Hammers head to Germany in need of a win if they are to reach their first European showpiece since 1976 after losing 2-1 at the London Stadium last week.

And with the Scot yet to win a major trophy in more than 1,000 games in management, he is hoping it might finally be his year as his side continue their remarkable rise under his tutelage.

Ahead of tonight’s clash at Deutsche Bank Park, Moyes said: "A European semi-final is huge for me, the players, everybody.

"I'm thrilled to be taking the team here and it wasn't long ago we were fighting relegation — it's been a big climb and there's no reason why it shouldn't continue.

"We need a whole team performance. The biggest thing for me is we get to the final.

"There are lots of games throughout your career, so when you get to a big one you think 'it's big'. But there are lots of big games, lots of ups and downs.

"It's hard to be a winner all the time because everyone is fighting for that prize. But when you get this close you are thinking: 'is this my turn, my chance?' I hope this is my turn."

Still coming home

The FA have confirmed that 'Three Lions' will continue to be England's official anthem at Qatar 2022

The Football Association has denied reports they plan to replace 'Three Lions' as England’s official World Cup anthem for Qatar 2022.

The Sun had claimed that the FA is reviewing its use of the Skinner and Baddiel hit, a fan favourite since Euro 96, over concerns it offended other nations.

It was suggested that Neil Diamond’s 'Sweet Caroline', which became popular during England’s run to the Euro 2020 final last summer, would replace it.

But the FA quickly released a statement confirming that it would not be the case.

The statement read: "Contrary to reports this morning, the FA still plays Three Lions at major Wembley matches and has never had any intention of doing otherwise.

"The song belongs to the fans and is about the hope of following the England team.

"It was requested by the FA to be played as one of our team songs at the 2018 World Cup and at the Euros last summer, and this is our plan at tournaments going forwards."

Roofe and Ramsey could return

Kemar Roofe was on the scoresheet as Rangers beat Braga in the previous round of the Europa League

Giovanni van Bronckhorst hopes to have Aaron Ramsey and Kemar Roofe available for Rangers' Europa League semi-final second leg showdown with RB Leipzig tonight.

The pair have been absent since the Gers' Scottish Cup semi-final win over Celtic last month, missing last week’s 1-0 first-leg defeat in Germany.

As the Glasgow outfit prepare to overturn the deficit at Ibrox, the Dutch boss revealed he is giving the duo every chance to prove their fitness.

"Of course I will wait as long as possible, but the most important thing for me is that they are physically able to play a part in tomorrow's game, that is always the deciding factor.

"We still have one day to prepare. Today will be an important day for both. I cannot tell you if they are in the squad for tomorrow or not."

Reguilon's season could be over

Sergio Reguilon could be out for the rest of the season

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has revealed left-back Sergio Reguilon is unavailable for Saturday’s Premier League game against Liverpool and could miss the rest of the season.

The Spaniard missed last weekend’s 3-1 win over Leicester with a groin injury and has not trained with the team since.

The Italian boss said: "He is not available. He hasn't had a training session with us. I honestly don't know, there is only two weeks whether it is possible for him to come back."

The 25-year-old appears likely to join fellow full-back Matt Doherty as well as Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga on the sidelines for the remainder of Spurs’ push to reach the Champions League.

After the trip to Anfield, Conte’s men are up against North London rivals and current fourth-placed side Arsenal next Thursday before fixtures with Burnley and Norwich.

Kitted out

Liverpool have revealed their new home shirt for the 2022-23 season

Liverpool and Bayern Munich have unveiled their new home kits for the 2022-23 season.

The Quadruple-chasing Reds’ current jersey is set to get plenty more use before the season's end but they have already revealed what the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson will be donning next term.

Nike’s simple but bold design is inspired by "Scouse solidarity", with its no-nonsense look said to reflect the mentality of the Liverpool people.

The shirt features the 97-emblem at the nape of the neck in memory of those who lost their lives during the Hillsborough disaster.

The change from 96 to 97 is in recognition of Andrew Stanley Devine, the 97th person unlawfully killed in the 1989 FA Cup semi-final.

Serge Gnabry and Bayern Munich will wear a striped jersey next season

Bundesliga champions Bayern have opted for a traditional-meets-modern look, with the red jersey and white collar featuring stripe detailing across the shirt.

The Bavarians say the new adidas strip is made from 100% recycled materials and will be worn for the first time in their Bundesliga game against Stuttgart on Sunday.
