Leeds come into this match full of confidence after beating Championship leaders Leicester last time out and they will be hoping to close the gap on the top two with another victory on Saturday.

Visitors Plymouth have boosted their survival hopes over the last few weeks, taking four points from three games to go five points clear of the drop zone, although a trip to Elland Road will be a tougher prospect than their recent successes.

Team news

Leeds manager Daniel Farke has no new selection issues to deal with and could name an unchanged starting line-up. Junior Firpo is back available, while Stuart Dallas and Djed Spence are both still sidelined.

Publicidad

For the visitors Mickel Miller is suspended after picking up another yellow card last weekend, while Saxon Earley, Brendan Galloway, Mustapha Bundu and Ryan Hardie are all out injured.

Mustapha Bundu is one of a number of injury absentees for Plymouth when they head to Elland Road

The stats

Leeds have won five of their last six Championship matches, but have conceded in four of their last five games.

Plymouth have scored nine goals in their last five league games, but have failed to win any of their seven Championship away games this season.

Crysencio Summerville has scored five and assisted three in his last six matches for Leeds, who are are unbeaten in their seven home league games this season.

Prediction

Leeds put out a statement of intent last week with a crucial 1-0 win away to runaway Championship leaders Leicester and they should be able to follow that with another win over Plymouth on Saturday.

Publicidad

The Whites have now won five of their last six Championship games and, while they are still eight points adrift of the top two, they are looking like one of the best sides in the division at the moment.

Daniel Farke’s side have not been overly convincing at the back, though. They have conceded in four of their last five matches and visitors Plymouth know how to find the back of the net.

The Pilgrims have scored nine times in their last five matches and have only failed to score in three of their 15 league assignments this season.

They are yet to win away from home after seven attempts, though, so a high-scoring home win is expected at Elland Road.
