Gakpo believes Reds have the quality to go all the way
Cody Gakpo has urged Liverpool to keep pushing as they bid to win the Europa League.
The Dutchman, 24, netted twice as the Reds beat LASK 4-0 at Anfield to secure top spot in Group E with a game to spare and book their place in the knockout phase.
Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah were also on target on a comfortable night for Jurgen Klopp's men.
And Gakpo insists they are aiming to go all the way to the final and lift the trophy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
He said: "We should be top of the group with the quality we have.
"We have to keep going because we have big goals for the season. That's it.
"We just have to keep going and win as much as possible.
"As I said before, we have a lot of quality and I think with this quality we can win a lot of games."
Diaz's header opened the scoring after 12 minutes and Gakpo's close-range finish doubled the lead just three minutes later.
Salah netted from the penalty spot in the second half to take his goal tally for the Reds to 199, with Gakpo adding the fourth in stoppage time.
The striker added: "We started off well but I think we could have scored more. At the end, a good win.
"It's amazing when you score at Anfield, how the fans chant [for] the group. It's amazing."
Klopp was equally pleased with his side's work. He said; "A lot of positives from the game.
"This game should have been put to bed [before half-time], we should have finished it off but we didn't. The third goal just after half-time was helpful.
"We worked for the clean sheet, which is what we wanted, so a top result and really good performance."
