- Burnley host Blackburn in East Lancashire derby on Saturday
- Sheffield United welcome high-flying Watford on Sunday

There are more big games to come this weekend in the Championship, including an East Lancashire derby between Blackburn and Burnley, while early leaders Sunderland travel to Portsmouth.

The action gets underway with Luton at home to QPR on Friday, before 10 games in the second tier on Saturday and then one on Sunday.

We look at all 12 games and have provided a score prediction for each.

Luton vs QPR (Friday, 8pm)

QPR beat Luton at home in the Carabao Cup on penalties on Tuesday after the match finished level at 1-1, but the Hatters can gain swift revenge at Kenilworth Road.

Both teams are yet to win in the league but Luton, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, can finally get a victory at the fourth time of asking.

Burnley vs Blackburn (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Blackburn have made a great start to the season, picking up seven points from a possible nine, but they could struggle against local rivals Burnley at Turf Moor, who hammered Cardiff 5-0 in their first home game of the campaign.

Score prediction: Burnley 2-0 Blackburn

Cardiff vs Middlesbrough (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Cardiff are bottom of the Championship after picking up just one point from their first three games, but they can secure a draw at home to Middlesbrough, who have won one, drawn one and lost one so far, but who were hammered 5-0 at home by Stoke in the League Cup in midweek.

Derby vs Bristol City (Saturday, 3pm)

Bristol City are unbeaten after three games and they can claim an away win over newly-promoted Derby, who lost at Watford last weekend and were then dumped out of the Carabao Cup by League Two Barrow on Tuesday.

Score prediction: Derby 0-1 Bristol City

Daniel Farke will hope to see Leeds make home advantage count against Hull.

Leeds vs Hull (Saturday, 3pm)

Leeds got their first victory of the season at Sheffield Wednesday last time out and they can follow up with another three points at home to winless Hull.

Score prediction: Leeds 3-0 Hull

Millwall vs Sheffield Wednesday (Saturday, 3pm)

The Owls can bounce back from the Yorkshire derby defeat against Leeds by seeing off Millwall away. The Lions have struggled in the early weeks of the season, picking up just a point from their first three games.

Score prediction: Millwall 1-2 Sheffield Wednesday

Oxford vs Preston (Saturday, 3pm)

Preston managed a narrow home win over Luton last week and they can follow that up with another three points at Oxford, who have lost two of their first three games following promotion.

Wayne Rooney's Plymouth host Stoke this weekend

Plymouth vs Stoke (Saturday, 3pm)

After back-to-back draws in the league, Plymouth lost 2-0 to Watford in the League Cup in midweek and they could be set for more pain against Stoke this weekend after the Potters crushed Middlesbrough 5-0 in their cup tie.

Score prediction: Plymouth 1-3 Stoke

Portsmouth vs Sunderland (Saturday, 3pm)

Sunderland sit top after three wins from three games and they can make it four on the bounce while inflicting a first league defeat on Portsmouth, who have begun the campaign with three draws.

Score prediction: Portsmouth 0-2 Sunderland

West Brom vs Swansea (Saturday, 3pm)

West Brom have seven points on the board so far and they should move on to 10 with a home success over Swansea, who were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Cardiff in the Welsh derby last weekend.

Score prediction: West Brom 1-0 Swansea

Sheffield United vs Watford (Sunday, 3pm)

The Blades have been held to draws by QPR and Norwich in their last two league games, but they can get back to winning ways against Watford at home and end the Hornets' fine start to the season in the process.
