Jule Brand — Germany

Teenage winger Jule Brand has been an important contributor for German side Hoffenheim after breaking into the first XI last season.

She opened the scoring in a 4-1 rout of Arsenal in their Champions League group stage encounter but narrowly missed out on a quarter-final spot to the Gunners on goal difference.

The 19-year-old, who also excels as a full-back, has four goals in just 14 international caps and agreed a move to powerhouses Wolfsburg in February.

Germany coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg said of the prodigy: "Sometimes Jule doesn't even know what she can do, she still has so much up her sleeve." 

Lieke Martens — Netherlands

Lieke Martens is widely regarded as one of the best female footballers in the world.

The Barcelona winger was named Player of the Tournament for her performances in 2017 the European Championship where Netherlands stormed to the title.

Their success skyrocketed her into the public eye and a year later Forbes ranked her the 22nd most powerful woman in international sport.

Martens, 29, has 54 goals in 133 caps for her country and defenders will be fearful of allowing her to cut off the flank onto her lethal right foot.

Wendie Renard — France

Wendie Renard captains both a dominant Lyon team and her country.

The 31-year-old centre-back has won Division 1 Feminine 14 times and secured seven Champions League triumphs in a glittering club career, also lifting the She Believes Cup with France in 2017.

Veteran Renard is a formidable presence in defence and has also scored 33 times in 130 appearances for her country.
