Sunday’s European action is packed with key encounters, with AC Milan’s fading title hopes under the microscope despite their great form. The race for Europe is heating up in Ligue 1, while in Portugal there’s a surprise form team making ground on the top six.

Ahead of Sunday’s action, I’ve scoured the fixture list to pick out five teams who look good for another victory. You can read more about the five selections in Sunday’s 42/1 European accumulator below.

Sunday, 3.30pm

Arouca claimed a fourth successive win on Monday with a 3-2 victory over Porto. That impressive win has helped them to cut the gap to the top six and they’ll be in the mood to extend that great run on Sunday.

Arouca head to third-bottom Casa Pia, who have lost four of their last five, scoring just once in that run. With the hosts looking blunt and low on confidence, Arouca are well-priced for a victory.

Sunday, 4.05pm

Reims are in the midst of a slide, having gone without a win in three Ligue 1 games since being eliminated from the French Cup. They host a Lens side who have won their last three to climb up the table.

Reims have struggled against the teams above them, having lost seven of their nine meetings with the eight teams ahead of them in the League 1 standings. That includes a 2-0 loss at Lens and the visitors - unbeaten away to the sides below them - can secure a fifth away win of the campaign.

Sunday, 5pm

Daniele De Rossi’s honeymoon period seems to be over, with his Roma side losing to Inter Milan and drawing at Feyenoord in their last two. However, they can return to winning ways this weekend against a Frosinone side who have just suffered two defeats.

The hosts were beaten 3-2 at their own ground by AC Milan before a 5-1 thumping at Fiorentina a week ago. With Frosinone losing three of their last four at home, back Roma to secure all three points.

Marseille are struggling in midtable in Ligue 1, despite having one of the best home records in the division. Their away record is poor, as the visitors have collected the second-fewest away points in Ligue 1 this term.

Marseille have lost all four visits to the top six this term, which is bad news with Brest flying high in fourth. The hosts could use a boost after drawing their last three, but they’ve looked good at home and they are well-priced to beat poor travellers Marseille.

Sunday, 7.45pm

Inter Milan’s relentless form has left their city rivals 11 points off the pace at the top of Serie A. However, the Rossoneri have won eight of their last 10 across all competitions and seven of their last nine in the league.

AC Milan are still on course for a strong finish and a return to the Champions League next term, and can strengthen their grip on third with a victory this weekend, having scored at least twice in each of their last seven league trips.

They head to a Monza outfit who are fresh from consecutive 0-0 draws, so back the Rossoneri to have too much going forward.
