Sunday acca predictions: Five teams to back across Europe on Sunday
Recommended bets:
- Back Villarreal to beat Granada
- Back Brest to beat Le Havre
- Back Empoli to beat Cagliari
- Back Leverkusen to win to nil against Cologne
- Back Werder Bremen double chance against Hoffenheim
There is a feast of footballing action across Europe on Sunday, with no fewer than 17 games to come from LaLiga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A.
High-flyers Bayer Leverkusen are in action away at Cologne, Serie A champions Napoli host Juventus, and in Spain, Barcelona travel to the San Mames to take on Athletic Bilbao.
We have you covered with our five best bets on the day, with a five-fold combining for odds of 17/1 with LiveScore Bet.
Sunday, 1pm
Six places and 15 points separate Villarreal and Granada ahead of Sunday's matchup in LaLiga, and the difference in class should be evident.
The Yellow Submarine are unbeaten in six in all competitions, while Granada have failed to win during that time, and they have only won once in their previous 10.
Villarreal won the previous meeting 3-2 in October, but this should be more straightforward, with Granada failing to score in seven of their last 10 away games.
Sunday, 2pm
Brest will be confident of extending their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to 13 matches when they entertain Le Havre.
Brest are PSG's closest challengers in the title race, and they can close the gap after Luis Enrique's men drew 0-0 with Monaco on Friday night.
After keeping four successive clean sheets, Brest should have no issues keeping Le Havre at bay, who have lost four on the bounce in all competitions.
Sunday, 2pm
Empoli will look to move further away from the relegation zone when they take on 19th-placed Cagliari on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts have opened up a five-point cushion over their opponents ahead of kick-off, and the formbook suggests they should come out on top.
While Empoli are unbeaten in six, Cagliari are winless in that time. Claudio Ranieri's side have drawn two in a row to show some resistance, but they are winless away from home and should struggle once again.
Sunday, 2.30pm
After watching Bayern Munich slip up again on Friday night, Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen side can move 10 points clear if they beat Cologne.
Leverkusen travel to a Cologne side who have won just two of their games at home this season, and it is that form that has left them 17th in the Bundesliga table.
Alonso's men have won five in a row while they are looking to extend their unbeaten run to 34 matches. Cologne have not troubled the scoresheet in four of their last six, and their struggles in front of goal should continue this weekend.
Sunday, 4.30pm
European-chasing Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen meet at the PreZero Arena on Sunday in a game that both will be desperate to not lose.
Hoffenheim are only one place higher than their opponents due to their superior goal difference, but they are winless in four at home, and this fixture could be coming at the perfect time for Werder Bremen.
Ole Werner's side have won three in a row 1-0 away from home, while they are unbeaten in five on their travels in the league and they can continue that run this weekend.
