Eddie Howe's Newcastle have started the Premier League season with three wins and a draw

The first round of European fixtures started this week with the Champions League and its new format taking centre stage.

However the Premier League is back this weekend with a full slate of games across Saturday and Sunday.

West Ham and Chelsea face off in the early televised kick off on Saturday while Crystal Palace host Manchester United in the late game with six-games in between.

Fulham v Newcastle (Saturday, 3pm)

Bet 1: Newcastle to win

Newcastle have had a solid start to the season, winning three and drawing one of their opening four Premier League matches and they may be able to extend that run when they take on Fulham.

The Cottagers have been solid if unspectacular and have drawn their last three games in all competitions 1-1.

In the latest, they ultimately lost on penalties to Preston in the Carabao Cup while Newcastle had a week’s rest so the visitors will be the fresher of the two teams.

They also have a strong record against these opponents and Eddie Howe’s men are fancied.

Bet 2: Anthony Gordon to score at any time

Anthony Gordon has already landed on the scoresheet this season and with Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson both doubtful for this game, the former Everton man may start centrally for Newcastle.

Gordon could be the away team’s best route to goal in this one.

Bet 3: Under 3.5 goals

None of the combined 11 games that these two teams have played this season have gone over 3.5 goals and they look unlikely to put on a high-scoring affair on Saturday.

The three meetings between the pair last term produced just six goals total.

Crystal Palace v Manchester United (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bet 1: Manchester United to win

A 7-0 win over Barnsley in midweek may well have rejuvenated a Manchester United team that also saw off Southampton 3-0 in their last league game.

Crystal Palace have yet to win a league match and their wait to do so may go on with the Red Devils fancied here.

Bet 2: Marcus Rashford to score at any time

Marcus Rashford broke his goalscoring drought by netting against Southampton and the forward is fancied to get on the scoresheet again here, having followed up with a brace against Barnsley on Tuesday.

Bet 3: Over 2.5 goals

There are question marks about both of these defences as of late and an entertaining affair could follow suit.

Manchester United’s last four games have gone over 2.5 goals and that selection is the pick again here.
