Sandown is the meeting in focus for the latest instalment of the Sky Bet Sunday Series.

There are seven races from the Esher-based track and it is a competitive card which will make for a great watch.

Here are five horses to follow across the twilight meeting.

4.20pm - Sky Bet Sunday Series Apprentice Handicap (1m2f)

GLENCORA comes into this handicap contest over 1m2f right at the bottom of the weights off a mark of 70.

This filly has not been outside of the front three on her last five outings, so she is a consistent horse. David Elsworth's runner has had wins at Yarmouth (1m2f) and Leicester (1m4f) this season.

She remains open to improvement so she may be able to land this race off a nice low weight of 8st 9lb.

LiveScore Selection: Glencora

4.50pm - Sky Bet Sunday Series Nursery Handicap (5f)

With two victories from her opening four appearances, it has been a good to her career for FAST RESPONSE

Her latest success came over this distance at Musselburgh where she overcame trouble to get up by just under a length.

This will be her handicap debut and it looks a lenient opening mark she has been given.

Karl Burke's sprinter remains unexposed so she should keep improving with every run. Pierre-Louis Jamin takes off a very useful 5lb from her back and he knows the horse very well.

5.20pm - Sky Bet Sunday Series Sprint Handicap (5f)

A Pint Of Bear (right) has seen form improve on turf
A Pint Of Bear (right) has seen form improve on turf

Three-year-old A PINT OF BEAR is one of the youngest horses in this field and has had just three appearances on turf.

Since switching to this surface, his form has improved considerably.

The son of Kodi Bear prevailed on his turf debut at Catterick (5f). He then finished runner-up at York and Goodwood over this distance, the latter in a class three contest.

Scott Dixon's gelding has a good chance of more success on turf off this latest mark of 83.

LiveScore Selection: A Pint Of Bear

5.45pm Sky Bet Sunday Series Stayers Handicap (1m6f)

An opening success for PRAIANO came at Leicester on his latest appearance where he appreciated the extra distance in that 1m4f contest.

This son of Dubawi could be even better over a stiffer trip. This extra 2f looks a more suitable test of stamina.

Roger Varian's colt has only gone up 3lb in the weights which should not be enough to stop him from following up with a second straight success on just his fifth career start.

LiveScore Selection: Praiano

6.15pm - Sky Bet Sunday Series Fillies' Handicap (1m1f)

Victory at this course over 1m brought up the second win in three starts for CREMA INGLESA

The filly from Jamie Osborne's yard did not get a clear run last time out but she was still able to put over two lengths between herself and her rivals when crossing the winning line.

The three-year-old will have a great chance of defying this 7lb rise in the ratings as Saffie Osborne will be claiming 5lb off her back. She has effectively only gone up 2lb for her latest win.

LiveScore Selection: Crema Inglesa
