Crystal Palace vs Liverpool (12.30pm)

Palace go into the weekend in 18th place in the table but ninth in the shots-per-game table, in which they average 13.8, more than high-fliers like Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle.

They will have to be positive as they go in search of an overdue first win and while their accuracy can be questioned with just five goals scored, they can rack up chances against Liverpool.

Arsenal vs Southampton (3pm)

Arsenal have scored twice in the first half in their last three matches in all competitions and they can extend that record against lowly Southampton on Saturday.

The Saints were 3-0 down at the break in Monday's 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth and they could be in for another tough afternoon at the Emirates Stadium.

Brentford vs Wolves (3pm)

Wolves have improved in recent games, scoring in the last four in the league, but Brentford are perhaps in a false position after tough away trips to Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham.

They might have made it three home wins from three last week if Yehor Yarmoliuk had converted a decent second-half chance and, while Wolves' performances are improving, their confidence is fragile and the home side can win this one.

Leicester vs Bournemouth (3pm)

Leicester are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league this season and have conceded two or more goals to Fulham, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Arsenal, so Bournemouth should have high hopes of building on their three-goal first-half blast against Southampton from Monday night.

Steve Cooper looks to be some way off finding a successful way forward with the Foxes and the Cherries could add to his worries on Saturday.

Manchester City vs Fulham (3pm)

City have won their last 16 meetings against Fulham and half of those victories have been by a three-goal margin or greater.

Remarkably, City have scored a penalty in each of the last eight clashes and the prospects of the champions converting from the spot again on Saturday may have gone under the radar.

West Ham vs Ipswich (3pm)

West Ham’s last four league matches have all featured a solitary goal after half-time as they continue to struggle up front.

Only four clubs have scored fewer top-flight goals than West Ham this term — Southampton, Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Ipswich.

Everton vs Newcastle (5.30pm)

Everton have noticeably stepped up defensively in their last two games, conceding 0.7 and 0.9 Expected Goals. It is clear they look better up front than last season, so straightening up their backline should bring a bump in results.

Fresh from a win and facing a Newcastle side that struggles against a more conservative approach, the Toffees look like great value to get the win at Goodison Park.
