Millwall could be bottom of the Championship by the time they kick off against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday as they go in search of a first win of the season.

A 1-0 defeat in which the reshuffled Lions failed to muster a single effort on target, was simply woeful and leaves more questions than answers for the Millwall boss.

That is now two games without a goal from a side who had banged in five goals in their first matches — but lost both.

Confidence is low in contrast to the mood at Hillsborough where boss Danny Rohl still has lots of credit for last season's great escape.

That feelgood spirit helped them to a thrilling 4-0 win over Plymouth and subsequent losses to Sunderland and Leeds, while disappointing, were against two of the division's better teams.
