- Man Utd are 13th in the table on 12 points
- Leicester only two places and two points behind the Red Devils
- Recommended bet:
Manchester United to win and both teams to score

Interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy will hope to make it four games unbeaten as Manchester United boss when his side welcome Leicester to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.

The former United striker has yet to lose since he stepped in for Erik ten Hag and he has already beaten the Foxes, with the Red Devils recording a 5-2 win in the EFL Cup at the end of October.

Leicester can climb above their hosts with a win, but Steve Cooper's side will need to improve after a poor few weeks.

Team News

United winger Amad Diallo scored a brace in midweek against PAOK in the Europa League, but he suffered a knock late on and is now a doubt for the clash with Leicester.

Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo, Tyrell Malacia and Leny Yoro are all still sidelined, but Shaw and Yoro returned to training earlier this week.

Foxes striker Patson Daka could make his comeback from injury on Sunday, while Bobby Decordova-Reid is hoping to feature after suffering an injury in the EFL Cup defeat to United.

Hamza Choudhury is struggling with a shoulder problem, while Jakub Stolarczyk will miss out with an ankle problem.

Steve Cooper has seen his Leicester City side win just twice since their return to the Premier League.

The stats

United are unbeaten in three under Van Nistelrooy, all of those games have taken place at Old Trafford.

However, the Red Devils have won just one of their last six in the Premier League and they have only kept one clean sheet in their previous six games.

The Foxes are winless in three in all competitions and they have only recorded one away win in the league this season, beating Southampton 3-2.

Prediction

With Ruben Amorim set to move to Manchester in the coming days, United's players will be looking to impress as they fight for a place in his plans.

Van Nistelrooy has done himself proud on an interim basis, but United still look vulnerable at the back.

They have only kept one clean sheet at home in the league this season and that came on the opening weekend against Fulham.

Since then they have conceded eight goals in four games and Leicester should be able to trouble them.

Steve Cooper's team have scored nine goals in five away matches in the league, but their poor record at securing results on their travels means the points should go to the hosts.
