Plumpton has seven races on Tuesday afternoon

Tuesday's jumps meeting from Plumpton features on the penultimate day of racing before the Christmas break kicks in.

They race from 12.20pm until 3.35pm we have picked out five to follow on the card.

12.20pm - Derek Hunnisett Memorial Maiden Hurdle (2m4½f)

He won a bumper at this track in May on his racecourse bow and WELLS GLORY should prove good enough to enjoy further success now.

The son of Fame And Glory came clear to win that afternoon by more than six-lengths and this looks a fairly ordinary maiden for his move to jumping.

LiveScore selection: Wells Glory

12.50pm - HollywoodBets Check Out Daily Boosted Odds Novices' Chase (2m4f)

MOSSY FEN was a useful novice over timber in the 2019/20 campaign, including finishing fifth at the Cheltenham Festival behind Envoi Allen, and he started his chasing career when fifth behind Galvin in the Cotswolds last October.

He was pulled up back there a month later and has been off since, making the move to Christian Williams' team in his downtime.

He may start with a win for his new handler.

LiveScore selection: Mossy Fen

1.25pm - In Memory Of Susan Corrigan Mares' Handicap Hurdle (2m4½f)

Harry Fry will be optimistic that ON MY COMMAND can make it 2-2 since joining his yard by adding this prize to the one she bagged at Market Rasen in October.

She was well supported that day and came home with four-lengths to spare on her first outing after a wind operation.

She also landed her bumper at this venue, so she is back on familiar turf.

LiveScore selection: On My Command

2.35pm - Ashes 50% Moneyback With HollywoodBets Handicap Hurdle (2m4½f)

Nicky Henderson only has a couple of runners on the card at Plumpton and FULL OF LIGHT might be the one to ensure it's not a fruitless visit for the Seven Barrows supremo.

Nicky Henderson's Full Of Light runs at Plumpton on Tuesday.
Nicky Henderson's Full Of Light runs at Plumpton on Tuesday.

He won a Downpatrick bumper on soft ground back in May for Mags Mullins before switching to Henderson.

He has had two runs over hurdles, twice finishing second at Ludlow and Uttoxeter.

His bumper in Ireland was over 2m1½f so the step up in distance from the minimum trip is a likely positive for him and an opening mark of 108 is within reach.

LiveScore selection: Full Of Light

3.35pm - Southern Events Rudolph Christmas Cup Open NH Flat Race (2m1½f)

Last month's Uttoxeter second DELTA RUN may be able to open his account here for trainer Richard Bandey.

That was his second appearance and confirmed the promise he had shown previously at Worcester in May.

The Uttoxeter winner, Benign Dictator, didn't disgrace himself in a quality Listed bumper at Ascot over the weekend.

Delta Run was outpaced in that race in the Midlands, before rallying late to get up for second, suggesting this increased test of stamina will be in his favour.

He is the form choice in the Plumpton finale.

LiveScore selection: Delta Run.
