Jumps racing comes from Exeter on Tuesday afternoon as the National Hunt campaign begins to gather pace.

A six-race card is on the menu, with action underway from 1pm until 3.50pm, and we have selected five horses for you to follow.

1.30pm - Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Amateur Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle (2m2½f)

Susan Gardner has got some traction from SNUG AS A BUG in recent times, the mare improving in her three runs for a new stable with figures of 212 during September.

She won in good fashion at Newton Abbot (2m1f, good) in the middle outing and was a shade unfortunate to bump into an improved winner when forced to settle for second at Fontwell over 2m3f since.

There was nothing wrong with that effort and she may give Myles Osborne a first win under rules in the saddle here.

LiveScore selection: Snug As A Bug

2.05pm - Exeter Staying Handicap Hurdle (2m7f)

Both AN TAILLIUR and Khan were last-time-out winners and preference here is for the Jonjo O'Neill runner to continue his winning spree and complete a five-timer.

The Authorized gelding began his sequence at Market Rasen in May and completed a treble in just 12 days.

After a summer lay-off, he picked up exactly where he left off, scoring at Warwick over 2m5f last month and seemingly doing so with a bit saved for himself.

He should get this increased trip and is the one to beat.

LiveScore selection: An Tailliur

2.40pm - Love Devon Handicap Chase (3m)

Both Glen and WHAT'S OCCURRING are known to go well after a layoff and should therefore be ready to go well here.

Oliver Sherwood's charge won first time up at Ludlow last season on chasing bow and was perhaps going to add to that that when he came to grief at Southwell in July on his first attempt at this trip.

If he can get around in one piece, he may be the answer.

3.15pm - Racing TV HD On Sky 426 Handicap Chase (2m3f)

Pens Man has started life as a chaser in fine style with wins at Uttoxeter and Warwick and will be fancied in his hat-trick bid but CASPERS COURT should give him plenty to think about for Kayley Woollacott and Tom Scudamore.

He has finished second in two of his three chase starts, at Ludlow and Fontwell, and was again set for a key role before he crashed out at Chepstow when last spotted in April.

He returned from 248 days off to win at this course over hurdles 12 months ago and should be in the mix if avoiding accidents now.

LiveScore selection: Caspers Court

3.50pm - South West 'Junior' NH Flat Race (1m5f)

Ralph Beckett has high hopes for Eel Pie Island
Ralph Beckett has high hopes for Eel Pie Island

A field of newcomers for the finale in this Junior bumper and the Ralph Beckett-trained EEL PIE ISLAND looks as likely as any to go well.

The Sixties Icon filly is a full sister to Talking About You, who was a dual-Listed juvenile winner last season, and she makes plenty of appeal on paper with Tom Buckley in good form of recent times and able to claim 5lb in the saddle here.

LiveScore selection: Eel Pie Island
