Jonas Eidevall is certain Arsenal know exactly what is required to beat Manchester United in their Women's Super League encounter on Saturday.

The Gunners host United in front of a sold-out Emirates Stadium looking to keep pace with fellow title contenders Chelsea and Manchester City.

Victory would move Marc Skinner's Red Devils to within a point of their opponents and they are unbeaten in the last four league meetings between the two clubs.

But Eidevall, 41, is convinced his side are ready to snap that streak.

He said: "The next game is never the same as the last. That's one thing you need to learn as a coach and as a team.

"We've had some tough games against United but I think we're on a clear mindset of what we need to do on Saturday in order to bring the performance needed to win the game. It's up to us to do it now."

Eidevall is also hopeful of welcoming forward Vivianne Miedema back into the fold this weekend.

Miedema, 27, missed more than 10 months of action last year due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury and scored her first goal since December 2022 against Liverpool last month.

The Dutch international has been back on the sidelines for Arsenal's last two outings due to irritation in her knee but her boss delivered a positive update.

Eidevall said: "She's training today. We need to see how that goes.

"I would say she has a good chance [of facing United]."

Though United's title hopes are all but over, prospects of a top-three finish and Champions League qualification would be boosted by three precious points in North London.

Skinner, 40, said: "On historical data, that [catching Chelsea] is going to be very difficult but what we have to do is perform against Arsenal.

"We're unbeaten in four against them and we need to be a team to get under the skin of Arsenal, I have no doubt about that.

“We have to try and win the game. That's what we're going to try and do."
